This Helmer hit well right out of the wrapper. Of course, after a few games, and a few batting practices, it's even better. Got it at a discounted price, but I've paid 3X more for bats that weren't nearly as good. Great pickup if still available

I rarely right reviews but decided to on this product. I chose this bat because it's the same weight and shape as my Easton Resmondo except it's a senior bat. I got a great deal on 3 of them so I was motivated to make sure I gave it a chance. I have to admit I was pretty frustrated with it at first. No pop and after about a thousand cuts and what felt like a million-rubber mallet hits it started to break in. Since then, the home runs are becoming more consistent, and the sound of the bat has changed. I hope it stays hot as long as it took to break in. Overall now, I love this bat. Just be prepared for a potentially long break in period. Thanks for reading

Great pop on bat right out of the wrapper

I purchased these to use has batting practice bats because they were similar to the bats are using games. Really unimpressive pop so far.
