Uhm, not sure why anyone would put acid in duck tape, it would just break down the glue and it wouldnt work. Lol, however, if youre inquiring to use duck tape to resolve a plantar seed wart, people commonly use duck tape and apply some syliac acid to a bandaid,cover the skin that the wart is under with bandaid apply the acid first, then leave ducktape on for weeks, on top of the bandaid so it sufficates the wart while hitting it with the acid, but you can buy bandaids that already have this on them. Go to pharmacy and ask.

Q: Does this stick to semi gloss painted surfaces ?

I didn't have any problem with it sticking to our wall with a few exceptions. It's not easy to remove once it's applied. Our house is very old and our walls do not have much insulation. When it got below 20 outside the places where the wall was the coldest had some of the tape peeling away from the wall. Our home has a very old radiating heat so it will stay below 55 inside if we don't add small heaters. Hope this helps
