Splash & Relax Swift Current II Plug & Play Portable Hot Tub

We have had our swift hot tub for nearly 6 months. It is excellent fun for the whole family and a great way to unwind after coming home from work after a stressful day. We leave ours running all the time on a medium temperature, then when we want to use it just turn it up for an hour before hand and it's lovely and hot. The sides are far stronger and thinner than the inflatable ones, so it holds more water, this model holds 1000ltrs where as the same size inflatable holds 750. Very durable as it is made from marine leather and has withstood heavy use with no signs of wear. Comfortable fits up to 4 adults, I wouldn't recommend more but you could probably squeeze 5 in ok.

I've had this set up on the patio for a week now. Easy to put together, and loads of room inside. The foam walls make it more comfortable, in my opinion, then a hard shell tub. I have built an insulated box for the control unit to withstand the UK winter weather and so far it has kept it's temperature perfectly. Reviews of inflatable tubs mention the decrease in temperature when the jets are on in colder weather. Whilst I noticed that the temp went down, it also re heats up quickly. Great fun and would recommend.

Saw an ad for one of these at Homebase as "Canadain Spa" for £999 so with trepidation bought it but as we got the boxes out of the car we found it to have been made in China under the name aveni / jilong Grand Rapid Swift Current 1 Spa, so at the moment we are leaving it in the box in case we have been "mugged off". We had a Canadian spa before and liked it,which swayed us to buy this one not knowing it was maybe a cheap Chinese copy.
