I bought this drill for small jobs and hobbies, mainly hoping for something lightweight so I wouldn't have to use my husband's. It is far more capable than I expected. For such a small tool, it really packs a punch. I used it to drill small holes in plastic and other lightweight materials for projects, and it handled the task without any issues. Its pen-like design makes it easy to control, especially when working on small pieces where a standard-sized drill would be awkward to use. It features variable speeds and good power. The battery lasts a long time—all in all, it’s an excellent drill.

This mini drill is fantastic—I absolutely love it! I’ve been able to make jewelry using seashells for my daughters, and it works wonderfully. It is very easy to use, holds a charge for a long time, and boasts incredible power. It features three speed settings, and its size is perfect—compact and sleek. The quality is excellent; if I had to give it a rating, it would get a 100%. Highly recommended!

This is a incredible little drill! I was hesitant at first because small drills can be very unpowerful. But for a pen drill this has really stood up to every small (reasonable) job I gave it. I was even shocked that after a charge it lasted quite a good while. It is a pen drill not a full size Dremel but it is so much lighter then a Dremel and because of that you can do so much more precision work with it. It really has become one of my main little tools and its so cheap! Further I can just pop it in my desk drawer. One handy little drill!

Small enough if you only do an occasional drilling. The cutting blade worked good. Charge seems to last a while. Not very loud, but you can tell it's on. Easy to hold. A nice selection of accessories. Doesn't like anything really thick.

I picked this up for small electronics and hobby work, mostly expecting something pretty light-duty. It’s a lot more capable than I thought it would be. For something this small, it’s actually got a decent amount of power. I’ve used it for drilling small holes in plastic and a few light materials for projects, and it handled that without any trouble. The pen-style design makes it easy to control, especially when you’re working on tiny parts where a full-size drill would be overkill. The different speed settings are useful depending on what you’re working on, and the included bits are a nice starter set. It’s obviously not meant for heavy-duty work, but for small, precise jobs it does really well. Definitely impressed with how much power they packed into something this compact.

I bought this because the description, and video, showed it able to drill into stone. I thought, "worst that happens," it cost $20." Out of the box, I grabbed a medium sized wooden dowel to try it on, since it said it can be used for wood. It took me nearly half an hour (not counting the recharge time!) to get through the dowel, and at one point got so hot that I had to turn it off because it was burning my fingers. It got bound up every two seconds or less, often stopping and turning off completely if I didn't back up quickly enough. As you can imagine...it made for a VERY uneven cut! Using the smallest drill bit, it DID go through the same dowel relatively quickly after all that, only binding up two or three times. Using that same bit on the top of a pill bottle, which a Dremel would go through in only a second, took nearly 10 seconds. The most disappointing thing however, is that the video shows it cutting through stone. One of the reasons I wanted a new drill, after my poor Dremel seized up a few months ago, is because I wanted to drill through some geode slices for my jewelry projects. It didn't even SCRATCH the surface...much less go through them. And that was after nearly a full minute of trying. Definitely a return. Luckily...I didn't set my expectations too high, so I can honestly say I'm not TOO disappointed.

I wouldn't recommend for acrylics or plastic pen toppers like popmart beans. The drill and bit get stuck no matter the thickness of the object. I also broke bits inside items while trying to drill into them. The small bits and the unit as a whole is pretty flimsy. I'd recommend buying another higher quality drill.

This very quiet mini drill is perfect for my crafting projects. Love that it comes with many tools and no wire to interfere with my work. A charge lasts a long time. In fact only needed to charge it once so far and use it a lot (but not a long time at a time - just enough to make a small hole in resin earring, etc). I used to work with an electric dremmel and it was too heavy or cumbersome.
