NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Precision Eyebrow Pencil, Auburn

I was using Anastasia Brow Wiz, but the price for a product that lasts 3 weeks (daily use) at most - yikes! So I decided to give the NYX Brow Pencil a try. I like the slanted shape of the color stick itself, makes application easier and more natural-looking. The color I ordered is taupe (hard to find, thank you NYX). It is a decent taupe, not reddish, which was a concern of mine. Especially for the low price, this brow pencil is excellent. It applies pretty smoothly, certainly as smoothly as any brow pencil I've tried. As for coverage, the same - no better or worse than any of the brow pencils I've tried. I always use cheap, clear mascara to set my brows after I apply pencil. Like all the brow products I've used, this one does tend to darken after some hours, but not markedly so. I love Anastasia Brow Pomade in taupe, but it is a process to apply and it darkens a lot after a while. It does, however last for months. I can't see the NYX brow pencil lasting for a very long time, but at such a low price, I definitely recommend this product.***Update: I am impressed. I use this product 4 times/week and there is plenty left almost 3 months after purchase! Upgrade from 4 stars to 5!

I was happy to find these online now that NYX appears to have replaced them with different brow pencil items in most stores. I've tried ALL kinds of eyebrow pencils over the years, but love these the best. I like the natural and neutral color and the flat point of the pencil and especially that it's long wearing, particularly if you pair it with NYX's "Proof It" eyebrow base. Stays all day. My only complaint is I wish they'd invest more of the product cost in more actual pencil color than the spoolie brush on the other end - we all have spoolies lying around - give us more product! Hopefully they'll be around online for awhile so I don't have to go back on the trial and error hunt for a decent, affordable replacement. NYX please bring these back in stores!!!!!!!!!

I love the flat precision tip, and the spoolie is sturdy enough to brush out any harsh spots where I’ve over applied. I bought it to replace my Anastasia brow wiz brush, and am never going back. For similar quality, and a fraction of the price, this does the job. It’s water resistant, and the Ash brown was perfect for my neutral hair and skin tone. I like to dye my hair all sorts of colors and like to keep my makeup neutral (neither warm nor cool) as I do so, and this worked well without standing out or clashing with anything I wore.

This is my second time buying this so you know it’s good. I love the wedged tip, for me I like to darken my eyebrow in one stroke not mess around with trying shade or draw individual hairs. This gives me a natural shape because it can draw both thick and thin sort of like a calligraphy pen - but this is a pencil. The color for me as a dishwasher blond with dark blond / light brown eyebrows is a great match (Pbp01 blond). Other Nyx eyebrow blond pencils aren’t this same shade though. This one is a taupe blond not a yellow blond like the micro brow pencil. Nice a cool toned and looks very natural.

This is red! Finally a brow pencil that matches my hair. I get my hair colored red and like when my eyebrows are reddish as well. Most auburn pencils and brow products are more brown than red. I also purchased the NYX CAKE brow powder in auburn but that was again more brown than red.My hair is bright and this pencil will bring my brows closer to my hair color.Finally found the perfect brow color for me.

So I ordered this a month ago, used it for about a week. The tip broke off so I twisted it for more to come up. A tiny bit came and then fell out!! Nothing left after that. Finally went to order another one to try one more time because I loved the color. Got it TODAY and used it. It broke off. Went to twist it again and nothing left in there!! Done with this product. Two in one month?!? There has to be half an inch of product in each tube!

As I have grown older, I find hair loss extends further than on my head...my eyebrows are practically non existent! With this eyebrow pencil, I am able to have great eyebrows, the right color eyebrows, and eyebrows that are NOT visually fake!I would add a picture, but I don't know how...but take my word for it, this item works! Just be sure to get your natural color, not the color you wish you had! (-:

I've been using this color & brand for a couple years, and I've never thought to order it on Amazon. I was elated when it was half the price of the major retailer where I was purchasing it before!

I have tried so many eyebrow pencils , this one isn't to bad better than a lot of the higher priced ones.Goes on quite nice, but the tip breaks so easily I will need another one soon. So wouldn't repurchase for this reason.

Second time I bought these and the crayon inside broke after a few uses!!! Not buying it again. What a shame as the colour was really great and other products of NYX are good.

I wasn't happy with it.The lead broke every 2 days.Not even using pressure.Now need to buy a new one.This as no lead left

Very average - can’t see what all the fuss is about. You can’t use any pressure otherwise it snaps, hence the fact that mine is all used up in 3 weeks - at nearly £9 not great value for money!! It also smudges really easily. I’ll stick to a Rimmel pencil that lasts for months and is half the price

I like this eyebrow pencil in every way it works for me giving definition without looking too made up.
