This cane stabilizer fits the end of my husband’s Medline cane perfectly. It helps the cane stand upright, but isn’t as wide as a quad cane, the legs of which tend to get caught on things. It was easy to pop on and seems to be holding up well in the month or so he’s used it.

I bought a backup folding cane that just had a standard tip. My “usual” cane is awesome and stands beautifully, but now costs $30 (gasp). I wanted my backup to stand also. I tried a 3 pronged tip—it fell over constantly. I inquired with people here who had bought the 6 pronged one, and several advised against it (wears out quickly, etc.). One of those people recommended this 4 pronged style, and it’s great (even though it cost more than my cane). It stands very well on hard, flat surfaces. It stands okay on carpet, and is easily righted by pressing a prong down with your foot. It’s flexible enough rubber for me that I don’t notice any issues walking with it. It gives just enough and is not totally rigid.By itself, it’s tall (may want to adjust your cane height) and heavy. But I didn’t notice the weight once it was attached to my cane. If you are frail or have low upper body strength, you might notice the weight increase. I’m in my 60’s with normal upper body strength, and it did not bother me at all.Other sellers charge $1-$5 more for this same item, so I recommend this seller.

Bought for elderly person with an old cane that needed more balance and this gave her more stability walk . Could not locate on locally and was glad to find this reasonably price and works well
