Pen
Purchased for my brother's 40th as a nice keep sake. Came in a nice box.

Beautiful Pen
The pen is gorgeous, but it the ink must be dry because it doesn't work. I have asked the seller for a replacement refill and have purchased another refill just in case. The seller promptly replaced the refill and it writes like a dream now. Thank you!

Light and elegant
I am pleased with the pen.It writes without smudging the paperwork and is easy to handle. Fits in your jacket very easily and light.

Need to write fast and give a professional image?
Most my purchases revolve around ensuring the quality and image of the product (due to my line of work). This is a thin gel based pen. It writes with ease and looks extremely professional.I purchased one locally for a much higher price, and then this one via Amazon at a bargain price as a gift. I don't think I'll move to another one anytime soon.

No ink
The media could not be loaded. Started using it for one day. The ink is all dried up. I had to buy a refill.Very disappointed

Great pen, terrible gel ink
This is a really nice pen. It's beautifully made. The clicky action feels just right, and the body is completely simple and free of decoration. If i had to improve it I'd maybe add a tiny bit of pattern around the grip area, some tiny indents or something, because this smooth aluminium can be a tad slidy in certain conditions. Not too much though - really subtle dots. But, the downside. The gel ink is awful. Scratchy, doesn't flow nicely, just plain bad. Turns out too, it's impossible to get any good inks for this sized pen. It doesn't take standard Cross cartridges, it takes some other random size with only a few different inks are available for. I bought them all, and they were equally bad for writing with - not living up to the standard I'd expect from Cross. The 'gel' one that comes with the pen though is particularly bad. It's almost like they supplied it as a joke.In the end I used a standard black Parker biro cartridge in it, with a tiny bit of plastic tube shoved in to make it fit. It's now a good pen, but I had high expectations for the ink after using other Cross pens in the past. Apparently the Cross cartridges at this size are just crappy across the board. The standard pen I use, day-to-day, is a Staedler Pigment Liner. This has the best writing experience of any pen I've ever used. If there could be a way to get that pen into this Cross body, that would be the world's best pen, hands down.

Slim stylish pen, different from usual chrome.
Lost my other Cross pen so had to replace with same type of pen. I have found both pens stylish, nice to hold, ink flows smoothly and has a nice light feel, not like some other Cross monster pens.

only marginally better to write with than a five-for-two-pounds-fifty click pen that ...
This is just OK. I have purchased many pens and have been a long time admirer or CROSS as UK made pens have disappeared altogether. Obviously, within the Cross range, this is very cheap. It is, though, only marginally better to write with than a five-for-two-pounds-fifty click pen that you can purchase from BIC or Pilot. It is very light, a little rattly, and rather too slim for it to be comfortable to hold for me. Fine for quick notes but not nearly as nice to write with as a more substantial pen. Overall a little disappointed.
