My daughter moved back in with us and brought her tub-o-fun cat with her. He's adorable and quite the chonk. His name is Jasper. I call him Fat Pants. He's lazy, which is the reason he's a pudgy guy, so we decided he needed some exercise. What's better exercise for cats than a laser pointer? I browsed and ordered this one. It arrived quickly and packaged well. It worked right out of the container and has a variety of options for the laser such as the standard dot, a mouse, butterfly, star and a happy face. It also works as a pen light and is chargeable rather than battery operated. We discovered that the butterfly is his favorite. Moving it around, he started running (it was actually more flopping) after it. Numerous burnouts took place (we have hardwood floors) and cats jumping all over the place (did I mention I have 4 of my own cats?). It was total cat chaos!! After some of the brood started to become less interested, we knew it was time for a break. Every time a hand goes near the pointer, Jasper's ears perk and his eyes light up. He's getting a good amount of exercise and we are getting a good amount of entertainment.

This is a great laser toy for cats. It works well and I love that it is rechargeable! I just plug it into USB charging station for about an hour and it’s ready to use! It’s bright and easy to spot for my pets. It helps them get a little exercise!

The laser pointer works but is low power. Can see it well on lighter color surfaces but get muted on dark surfaces like dark wood floor. The patterns are small but clearly visible (a few inches in diameter at 3' and larger at a distance). Was able to use it across a room, so good enough for indoor use. The switch is easy to use and scrolling to change patterns is smooth. The white light can be used as a flashlight but not high powered. Good to find keyhole in front door or look under couch but not good for taking a walk at night. The UV light seems underwhelming and has a very short range of effective use (perhaps 2 feet).Not had long enough to test out battery duration, but the whole laser pointer feels lighter than a AA battery. Mostly plastic with some metal. The battery must be small, but is easy to recharge.For the price it works slightly better than expected. The cap for the USB charging port snaps on and does not screw on. While it is pretty tight, the lanyard is attached to the cap and need to be careful not to pop the cap off while holding by lanyard. Not had it happen yet, it is just a concern.

We recently got adopted by a cute little orange stray kitty. Totally unplanned, so we had to come up with all the things he'd need to live his most spoiled life rather quickly. After ordering another more expensive laser that ended up in Amazon shipping limbo and never arriving I just got this because it was quick and easy, but also had USB charging. What I expected was a half step up from those garbage button cell lasers they sell at grocery checkouts as impulse items. What I got was a remarkably good product for a really fair price. No screw on cap filter nonsense, it's a roller switch built right into the laser. Laser brightness is bright but not eye damage bright. The UV LED is great for UV resin projects, and the white light is great for spotlighting him or whatever he shouldn't be playing with when he's up to your typical illicit and illegal orange activities. He's already learned laser = fun, white light = busted. LOL. Anyway, if you're looking for a good laser for your pets at a good price you can't beat this. We've had it for a few weeks now and play everyday with it & I've only had to charge it a few times. The brightness is just right, the battery life is good, the materials and the fit and finish are in line with something you'd get in the $12-15 range. It's a good laser, just get it.

I got the two pack and these lasers are great. The light on them does really good to, it’s nice and bright. Love the different shapes they have and the cats seem to like them better than just the normal dot. I really like that fact that they are rechargeable. All in all the lasers are great and my animals approve of them.
