Revlon Fabulash Waterproof Mascara, Blackened Brown 023, 0.27 Ounce

I use the Skin Deep website as my guide for buying all personal grooming products and they rate this mascara at a 2. If you're not familiar with Skin Deep, a 0 is pure water and a 10 is toxic waste, so a 2 is a safe product. Revlon has replaced this mascara with new ones, so sad, the new ones are rated 4's and 5's. The safety of it is why I tried it but it works wonderful. I have long, blonde lashes that are invisible without mascara and this one makes my lashes look thick and long. I have noticed some clumping, but honestly, I've never used a mascara that didn't.Because it's no longer being made I had to go to Amazon to find it. Thank God for Amazon. Now I'm ordering more because when it's gone I'll be back in the hunt for a safe waterproof mascara.Oh yes, this one is less than $8.00 and all the other so called safe mascaras offered by the companies that claim their products are natural cost 3 times that and have 4 and 5 ratings on Skin Deep. The bottom line is - if you want it you better buy it because when current inventories are gone it's gone for good.

I couldn't find this mascara, which has been a staple of my beauty routine for over 25 years, in the stores any longer. On to the computer I went to see if Amazon had it. Of course they did! This mascara is the final coat I apply. It's dark and does a great job of lengthening and separating when used with other mascaras underneath it. However, I was disappointed that the particular tube I receive had mascara which was on its last legs. It was dried up - not gummy in consistency like a new mascara should be. Disappointed, but I'll add a little water and try to get it loosened up a bit.

Some days this item is awesome and works so well. Other days it tends to run a little towards the end of the day. I am still not sure if I like it completely.

I was glad to find a product I can buy online that is discontinued, but sadly there are reasons these are discontinued, they are also off shelf life, so should not be sold in some situations. Others I bought online here smelled and burned, this one didn't, hard to find waterproof mascara nowadays. But to be honest I do notice the difference at the end of the day, so won't buy again. But delivery was fast, appreciated that.
