A decent change from the other pure protein bars. I've been getting the variety packs for years. They are not the greatest tasting on the market, but for half the price and 20g protein, it's my go to. The taste is good, but they have a harder texture than other brand cookies and cream. Still 5 star for the price.

Knocked off a star because the price and availability changes so much. The price can double! However, there are many varieties and I can usually do fine. I get these mostly for my kid, for his lunches. A great source of protein. And he likes the taste of every flavor he has tried so far. The only downside is that they contain zero fiber. Comparing these to all the other protein vars for ingredients and 20g of protein, I find these to be the best.

Many other Pure Protein bars use whey and nut-based proteins, so finding this flavor has been a relief. The label does note that they’re made in a facility that also processes peanuts and tree nuts, but that hasn’t caused any issues for him—he’s had zero reactions. Still, it’s always important to double‑check ingredients on any protein bar, since so many rely on whey, nuts, or soy, which can be challenging for people with food allergies. With only 4g of sugar, these bars are a low‑sugar option that keeps him full between meals and helps him avoid grabbing chips or other snacks. They’ve been a great fit for his needs.

These protein bars are nothing special. The taste is below average. The brownies are by far the best.
