The Green Monster Brain Book
Have been using these books for over 30 years while on actor duty in the Marine Corps. Study basic notebook. Use it for both work and personal notes. Was happy to find it at an affordable price from Amazon after retirement.

Gov issue note book, durable, easy to use and carry
Just your typical government issued notebooks. Good for writing notes, recipes, ideas, or even as a journal. The external part is pretty sturdy. Hard cover and would not bend easily. Just the right size I can carry it in my back pocket (depends on your pants, will not fit all). I also carry one in my backpack.
