I really love this case. I ordered a pixel 2 phone from Google and I also ordered a Google Live case at the same time. It was going to take so long for the case to be delivered that I ordered this case to hold me over to keep my phone protected while I waited for the other case. Well I've fallen in love with this case. I got the Google Live case put it on my phone for about 2 hours and then switched back to this case. I love the ring that keeps the phone secure in your hand preventing Falls. I've used the ring on the back as a stand to watch video several times already. The metal piece on the back of the case works really well with the car vent magnetic holder that I already had prior to owning this phone and it's so convenient I didn't have to stick a metal piece inside my phone case in order for it to be magnetized to the holder, and it holds my phone very securely. I can't rave enough about this case I will definitely buy another one should this one wear out. I should also mention that I dropped my phone a couple of times (wasn't using the ring at the time, obviously) and there is no damage to the phone or the case. The Price is Right in the quality is fantastic!

For $10, it's a capable phone case. It will definitely protect the phone from a standing-height drop, with enough raised lip to keep the screen from smacking the sidewalk when landing face-down. The rotating integrated ring is a nice, uncommon feature, which works well enough as a kickstand. The case fits the phone perfectly; all buttons, edges, and corners line up beautifully, while maintaining ease of use of the squeeze feature of the phone. The case does add some bulk to the phone, but that's a given for the degree of protection it provides (slim cases are nearly worthless).However, at $10, you can expect some cost cutting measures. The integrated metal plate (for use with magnetic mounts) is just barely thick enough to achieve any appreciable holding force, even though there's clearly room in the embedded area for a thicker, more useful plate; as it stands, you'll need a mount with more/stronger than typical magnets to keep your phone from dislodging itself when driving over speed bumps. The embedded ring is actually chromed plastic, and fairly flimsy; a ferrous metal ring would have helped the build quality immensely, and given it some staying power on the mount. The case itself is a smooth plastic, which I found to be somewhat slippery in the hand, though it does look nice.4/5 stars: The case protects the phone well, and has some novel features, but the extras are fair quality, at best.

I loooove this case. I wish that the ring was metal. After a week my ring cracked making it unusable ... It's. Ute and sturdy but won't last. Wish they had it without the ring so I could add a metal one.

The ring on the back (the reason I chose this case) broke off in less than 2 months. Based on the reviews, I was careful to never place much weight or strain on it. Just used it as intended to balance my phone in hand on public transit. Such a shame, because I loved the case in all its other functions.

I've had a Pixel 2 since 2017, and have gone through two cases before this purchase. The first was a thin case that didn't offer much protection, so I quickly swapped it out with a Spigen double-layered case (one hard shell encapsulating a soft shell). This case worked effectively for some time, but made the phone cumbersome to use one-handed (especially when you're trying to doze off while using your phone in bed).This led me to purchase the Newseego case, since it had a finger ring holder. Once it came in the mail, I quickly tried it on my Pixel, and it felt great. It was as if my phone was new again, and I felt a greater appreciation for my phone again (lifehack: don't buy a new phone every two years, buy a new phone case! It does wonders).Overall, the case was sturdy and felt high quality (personal opinion). Side buttons were more responsive than my Spigen case, the case was easy to put on/take off for cleaning, etc. I didn't get a chance to use the magnetic holder because I don't drive due to COVID-19, but I imagine it would have been strong.My one big problem is that the ring finger holder snapped off with less than a month's worth of use. I mean, sure, it was only $11 with tax, but the build of that ring finger holder was quite flimsy, being made of plastic.

When I switched phones I needed a new case. After looking around, while I loved the teal color of this one and the convenience of a built-in magnet for a car dashboard, I was intrigued by the little finger ring. Now I was going to purchase this anyway, but a little piece of me rolled my eyes at the holder since I am not young and do not need a handheld piece for taking selfies. I did notice how people said it's great for propping the phone up for watching things so I figured I would maybe use it for that. I have had the case now for over a month and I cannot tell you how many times this ring holder has saved my phone from falling!I have a 14-month-old who is exceptionally grabby. We also are still nursing so anytime she's close to me if I have the phone in my hand, naturally she will try to swat it away from me or grab it for herself. This little piece of metal has found a forever home in the crook of my index finger because it is constantly there keeping it from flying across the room! I am happy to report, however, that in the handful of times I have been caught off guard, the protective case has kept my phone safe without a single problem when it DOES hit the ground.All in all I cannot sing enough praises about this little lifesaver. Liked it so much I went out and got the black one for my husband's phone.
