Really lovely, would recommend for any big sister to be
My daughter is preparing to become a big sister and this is brilliant for explaining things that may and will happen for so many reasons. She loves all the lift the flaps and we love lulu from previous books we have with her in. Great for explaining that mummy will have to go and have a baby and that the little one will be coming home to live too and that Granny or someone will be coming to stay and look after them while it happens. The new baby is a boy in this, so may need adapting should you wish to when reading if you're having a baby sister join the family. Lovely book, would recommend.

Excellent book for introducing the idea of a new baby!
Really beautifully illustrated book, brightly coloured with lots of loft the flaps. This book is a fantastic way to introduce the becoming a big sister/brother. My five year old loved it and bought it for my friends two year old too.

Brilliant book for preparing for a new baby
Daughter LOVES this book. Bought after we had our son, but she loves it as keeps showing me the baby in the book and then comparing to her new brother. Loads of flaps to lift, and really down to earth explanations. Talks about tummy getting bigger, as well as a noisy baby in the house.

Amazing book!
Bought this for my 2 year old daughter who is going to become a big sister. By far the best book Iโve purchased for her. Wonderful story with gorgeous pictures. I especially loved the ultrasound photos, the parents going to the hospital and the Granny coming to stay. Such a sweet book!

A favourite
This really helped my daughter (3 years) to understand what it would be like being a big sister. She loved it from the first moment we read it and still loves it 4 months after her brother was born. For us it was perfect because grandma comes to stay and the new baby is a boy. Both of these things were true for our family so it made the book even more perfect

Very cute book, great preparation for a new baby
This book is truly great, my toddler loves it and I feel it is a great preparation for new baby. It has fun drawings and flaps and I like the text. My toddler asks for lulu every day.

This was perfect for explaining to my daughter what would happen when her baby sister was born. Of course then we had an unexpected home birth, there's no book to prepare you for that

Libro molto carino con pagine interattive che mia figlia sfoglia e scopre cosa nascondono le varie immagini. Si รจ affezionata al libro e le piace la storia del prima e del dopo l'arrivo della sorellina Ormai lo chiama il libro di aurora!

My toddler looooves this book, we started reading it a few weeks before her baby brother was born, now he's 3 months old and she still wants to read "Lulu" every night. She enjoys the flaps, she tells Freddie that she loves him and she loves her baby brother loads too. She can relate with Lulu, the big sister. Staying with Granny while her parents went to hospital was exactly what happened, so I think this story helped her be prepared for the delivery. I like that the story begins with the pregnancy and ends when the baby is growing.
