SPOILER: They're from China!
These magazine baseplates are a great buy! That's it... You don't need to read any further. But if you want to know why I feel this way, stick around...I wanted to change the color of my baseplates, from the original tan to black and painting them was never an option in case I wanted to go back to tan.I looked for other aftermarket plates and even considered 3D printing them, but wasn't willing to risk using something that's probably not drop-safe.After a long and arduos 10-minute search, I found these on amazon and my reaction was pretty much the same as yours: "That's a good deal!"I knew they weren't original SIG plates; not for the price. And as I read their description, my suspicions and fears were confirmed; they're made in China. So, I had to make a decision... Do I go with a design and fit I'm already familiar with, in a product that's almost half the cost of the original, and betray every single value I believe in?Then I realized not everything in life has to be so complicated and that times is tuff. If these turn out to be good, I would've saved money, which I could later use to buy more pew pew stuff, so I got 'em!All jokes aside; I probably wouldn't use these while on duty, but I keep one by my bedside and they're great at the range.

Not magazine extensions
I bought these with the understanding that they were "magazine extenders", but they're really just base plate replacements. Once they were installed, I could only put 15 rounds in my mag just like before. FYI.

They fit
These fit my stock sig mags, but will need an extended mag spring to feed properly. This does not come with springs, just the baseplates. I have a couple extended springs that I dropped in, and they worked as expected, just know that the price point is for that reason.

Identical to Sig plates, but a little cheaper
Not sure if it's completely worth the "savings" $18 for two vs. $11 for a Sig one, but given that they're identical, minus the logo and possibly the one corner sharper/less comfortable to the touch, the selling point becomes the fact that they can be bought on Amazon. Not regret, decent buy, not the bargain of the century but fully functional and slightly cheaper than the OEM. Used them to convert FDE M18 mags into black ones for P320. Identical fit to the OEM ones.

Decent option for a relatively small aftermarket
This is a suitable replacement in battle scenarios, although I would only trust OEM when I can get them readily. These are good shooting bag spare mag fodder!

It needs a whole separate metal mag sold separately.
This is the base plate you would use on a mag that is extended. If you had 2 extended mag well the metal well and the spring extended then this would be nice to take up the space between plate and handle grip otherwise just showing the metal. On an existing mag that is stock these do not function they will fit you baseplate, but won't have enough metal mag left to reach the lock and release. These are specifically if you building or need new baseplate for an already extended mag. Ps don't know what these other folks are talking about like it's working for them with their stock mag?

Did not fit my M17 magazines
They looked cool, so I thought I would give them a try. The grooves were too small to slide onto the bottom of my magazines.
