36 Site Aeroponic Cloning Machine. Expect 100% Success Rates!

The cloner arrived in good condition and was easy to set up. I started tomato cuttings and several type of soft wood cuttings right away.The tomatoes started rooting within days and were very rooty after 1 week. I transplanted and 1/3 died and the others looked bad but are still hanging on. I will have to figure out how to avoid transplant shock better. However, while in the cloner, they looked fantastic!I got soft wood cuttings from six shrubs to see how the cloner would handle them. I picked different thicknesses and lengths. About half of the very skinniest (~1 mm thick) were the only ones that died. All the other cuttings lived. The ones that seemed to do the best were about 2 to 3 mm thick in diameter. One type of plant (I think it was mountain lavender) even started rooting after ~10 days! After 3 weeks, the cuttings were still alive and had green cambrium, buds and small leaves, although I couldn’t discern any callous. However, I didn’t see callous on the cuttings that clearly had roots so maybe callous formation is different when rooted aeroponically versus in soil.I did have to spray the cuttings with water for the first few days even though the seller said it wasn’t needed. To be fair, I was pretty brutal in cutting. I used kitchen scissors and not a razor, as was recommended. Even with my clunkiness, the cloner kept the plants alive.I’ve converted it to a aeroponic grower (it’s hard to get fresh veggies because of coronavirus lockdown) and am growing lettuce and strawberries under a grow light. They are doing great and getting big.The pump does warm up the water and it was getting too warm in the window. The temperature of the water measured at mid-day was 78.4F. I’ve moved to a cooler part of the house and am using a grow light and the plants seem to be doing better.I recommend this for anyone interested in cloning, because it works and is very easy to use.

Look no further - this cloner is excellent.As a first timer I'll admit I was stressed, especially after scouring reddit threads and reading conflicting recommendations about ideal cloning conditions, humidity, water temps, etc.DO: worry about water temps. Having done multiple cloning runs I've noticed that the hotter my cloning room the longer the clones take to root. At 68-72 degrees room temp they take 2 weeks. At 80 degrees they took almost a monthDON'T: worry about humidity. I cloned in the dead of winter where my humidity was 20%. Excellent resultsDO: worry about light intensity. If you're blessed to have a PAR meter, keep light levels at ~115 PPFD for excellent resultsDON'T: worry about a pump timer. Some folks say to do 1 min on - 4 mins off or other variations of the same. In the included instructions it even says to keep the pump on 24/7, which is what I did. No issues whatsoever and the manufacturer knows bestDO: use Clonex rooting gel on your cuttings. Optional to use the Clonex solution for your reservoir (I did) but the gel is the important part. Worth mentioning that for the reservoir you will have great results with plain tap water although I know people will still use Clonex solution just for peace of mindDO: keep an eye on your water levels. Especially as the roots establish they will start drinking substantially. A couple weeks into it you will need to top off the reservoir with about another gallon of water. This is important because if the water level gets too low the pump won't spray and your clones will be dead within hours. I learned this the hard way :-)That's about it! I ordered this about a month ago, I wanted to use it for a bit before I wrote a review.. As of this day I have taken numerous cuttings from different plants around my neighborhood ranging from my neighbors roses, to a mostly dead raspberry plant, even a few sprigs from my oak tree, and sweet potatoes. Progress is as follows Day 1; no noticeable root growth, Day 2; all sweet potato cutting had root buds with 2 having small roots, Day 3; all sweet potatoes had their own root systems and were ready for transplant the oak cuttings raspberry cuttings and rose cuttings all took about 11-14 days but so far every single cutting I have taken has rooted, in a separate gallon jug I mixed 1/4 tsp Flora Duo part A per 1 gallon of water ( I used regular tap water) And I have to say pleasantly that I have no Qualms about recommending this product to other buyers even first time cloners there is one thing I should mention and that is your water pump cannot be on 24/7 or cuttings will take forever to root get a 24 hour timer and keep it in a cycle of 15-20 min on and 30-45 min off, if you have the clones under a grow light keep it a fair distance away because if the water heats up your cuttings will not grow either if you meet those conditions you should have 100% growth (assuming the plant you took a cutting from has strong good healthy genetics but that is another subject entirely) I am thoroughly satisfied with the product, I had one small issue with shipping so I emailed the seller and in less than 24 hours they had contacted me with excellent suggestions on how to resolve my problem.. All in all if you want a good reliable product this would be one for you btw even though it is a 36 site, in the box that it ships in it comes with multiple replacement inserts should you make a mistake like myself and lose one or two to an over zealous puppy that manages its own way into the grow area

Works like a charm. I am cloning cuttings from herbs I buy at the grocery store. Saves me a lot of money from buying plants and time from growing from seed. Endless possibilities.

I've had this for maybe a year now. Some of the nozzles don't squirt water anymore. The submersible motor seems to have some clogs in it. I had to tap it on the floor hard to get it pumping. I am nervous it might short out now. I didn't see any warranty information. I need to get a new misting system for it somehow. The thing roots phenomenally when it works right. The roots get so big and nicely dispersed around the base of a cutting but I think that comes with a downside. I think the roots end up getting clogged into the pump somehow. Either that, or maybe it is the nutrient water I used or a combination of the two. Also, if you have a decently bright light above the cloner, it will get algae around the edges of the top white insert as well as the foam inserts because they get damp over time. powerful light and wet foam or wet surfaces visible to light with this cloner are going to cause algae. I lost a couple of really good clones to algae. This thing is a pain in the butt to clean, but the roots are sooooo impressive so it's worth it I think.

To be fair they say you don't need any ph adjustments or nutrients. I waited 2 weeks and had no results. I believe milage may vary depending on tap water quality. But! I did find the following method to be extremely effective.I put,10ml clonex10 ml hydrogen peroxide1ml each of advanced nutrients ph perfect - grow, micro, bloom per gallon and a rather large air stone attached to a 3.5 watt air pump and BLAM root city. Like roots for days.I very much like this product.I've left the clones in it for a few weeks now. I've topped the reservoir off twice using the same recipe above. I haven't checked ph, or ppm. just keep topping off. They keep growing. This method has been very effective compared to other methods ive tested.Filling this, use an empty 1 gallon water jug and fill just below the red nozzles. If I recall was about 3 gallons give or take. If you cover the red nozzles they won't be able to spray up onto the cuttings.

Have to say, quite impressed. 5 days and I had roots. 8 days are the purple pics, 14ish days are the green pics. Leaves are only slightly burned because I had to increase light intensity for seedlings. I got lots of advise about running with a timer at 15 on 15 off. But I just went with the included instructions. I only put in half the number of clones it could hold. The basin holds 2 gallons of water. I used distilled water and only one pack of clonex solution (you could do 2, I did 2 after water change). Ran continuously and misted clones twice a day. This was in early April zone 6a. Some 40 degree nights but in a semi insulated shop in a grow tent. Better that the water is colder than hotter but 70s-80s is fine. Day 7 changed water. Added more clonex. And here we are. Will run for a little while longer. Very convenient, no having to fuss or fiddle. For me, this cloner is the way to go.

I have 3 EZ Cloners (1-36, 2-128 site) and have been using EZ Cloners for 23 yrs and still have my original unit (Still works perfectly). These units are extremely cheap and made with the poorest quality parts, workmanship on the manifold is a joke. Misters are flimsy and break upon first disassembly to clean, holes appear to have been drilled and tapped by a 4 yr old. Upon delivery inspection pump was missing one of the impeller shaft bushings (Unit still functioned fine) its cheap and hard to clean. Glue used in manifold reacts to nutrients (no you do not use just water, that's some nonsense to avoid telling people the reaction if nutrients are used in unit) and causes a rust like cloud in the res which results in film on everything incl. the inside of the manifold. The film is impossible to clean from inside of manifold. I was able to get 1 run for 110.00 ? lmao, unit is junk, do not be fooled by the review rating.

My own fault I should've checked it properly but the pump Is 120v and it blew up and switched of my electric 😄

This unit has worked wonders for me. I have had no success with cloning in soil so I bought this because it has been sold for quite a while and has had some solid reviews as far as it’s functionality. I don’t share any complaints with the last couple reviews, the components were built professionally.I used tap water which sat for 24 hours. I lowered the PH below 6.5, then ran the machine for 2 days to aerate the water. Cut the clones on a 45 like the instructions say, put them in and left them with 2 fluorescents on them 18/6. I have done one batch so far and it took 7 days to see nubs or roots but after 14 days they have exploded...all of them... 100%. I can now stabilize my genetics :) ThanksThe one thing that should be mentioned is that you should keep the water cool below 75F. I live in Canada but the ambient air of my veg room is 26C all year, so I ordered all the components to make a water chiller/Peltier cooler and while I was waiting I pointed my cold air intake at the clone king tub and put the thermostat probe in the water to turn the fan on. This worked perfectly fine for the meantime.I made the Peltier Cooler, and it brought the temperature of the water down to 65-67... very cool!!This cloning machine works exactly as they have said and as the pros in Colorado are using it, it’s pretty much the industry standard and I totally see why. No worrying about anything.
