Aside from the fact that this was highly overpriced for what it is, I really can't complain, because it serves its purpose so well and gets the job done perfectly. So for that, it was worth it.I have 4 large dogs of my own, plus a large foster dog at my house at all times. They obviously generate massive amounts of poop every day. Before I bought this, I was using a small plastic trash can, but it got brittle in the hot Texas sun and literally broke apart when I picked it up. Plus, it had no lid, which meant flies were always in it.This poop can solved every problem that I had with the regular trash can method. First of all, I absolutely love that it takes standard plastic grocery bags so i'm not forced to buy expensive refills. Plastic grocery bags are something I'm always going to have on hand, so there's nothing more to buy once you get this can.Second, the foot-pedal opening means I never have to touch the lid in case it is soiled. I have the same advantage with the handy carrying handle on the back of it...I don't have to touch the can itself, and the handle is always clean.Third, the lid makes it so no bugs can get inside. It also keeps the rain out so it doesn't turn into poopy soup, which is gross! Also, if you have dogs that have copraphagia, which I have in the past, it keeps them from having access to the poop. In addition, you get no odor whatsoever from this can. It is completely sealed up.I also really like the way the plastic bags fit inside and wrap around the edges when you pull the handles down the sides. It ensures the poop goes inside the bag and not in the handy washable hard plastic liner that pulls out of the can in case you miss the bag for some reason and need to wash it out.Honestly, this thing is so useful and purposeful for what is otherwise a nasty job that it was worth its weight in gold, and I'm so glad I bought it, even though I hesitated to pay that much for something to collect poop in. It also is very stable and doesn't tip over when I set it down like a regular graduated can would do, and it's no fun having to re-scoop poop because you knocked over a regular can. Also, it is black, so it doesn't show dirt from being outside. It looks totally unassuming sitting against the house in my backyard.When it is time to empty it, which is about twice a week for me, you just grab the grocery bag handles and pull up to remove the bag, tie off the handles, and drop it in the city trash can before collection day. Easy peasy.I never expected to be so excited about a poop collection can, but actually, this thing is great because it makes a nasty job much more pleasant!

I was searching high and low for an affordable solution to the garbage collectors pulling the kitchen trash bags out of my bins while leaving the smaller dog poop bags behind instead of emptying the entire bin into the truck. That meant stale, smelly bags were left behind until the next pickup.I decided to get a separate dog poop bin so I could place all of the smaller bags into one larger bag and put it out with the regular garbage on pickup day.This CEROELDA Small Trash Can with Lid fit the bill perfectly. The metal construction feels durable, and it's super easy to use thanks to the foot pedal. The lid closes softly and quietly. It holds a bag that's big enough for a week's worth of waste from my two Toy Fox Terriers, and the lid seals well enough to keep odors contained outdoors, which is exactly what I wanted. I've been using it for about a week, and so far it's been doing an excellent job. I haven't tested it indoors.Note that it's just a simple trash can, so it's not doing anything fancy. It simply closes securely and forms a good seal with the trash bag inside.Overall, I'm really happy with this little bin. It solved exactly the problem I bought it for, and the soft-close lid is a nice touch. It also looks great next to my other black trash bins.Five stars!

This trash can is great for storing your bagged dog poop until garbage day. We have a mini golden doodle that poops twice a day and it’s been big enough to store the poop for a week. It comes with a foot pedal to open the lid. The pail inside should be lined with another garbage bag for easier transfer to the main garbage bin. There is a handle for the inside pail. I put in a charcoal bag inside the pail and put the liner on top to help with the smell. Actually it doesn’t smell when the lid is closed. Location of the trash can is vital. I had it on the porch which faces west and it attracted so many flies- they could smell the poop. I placed it in the shade on the north side of the house by the porch and have not any issues with flies. No wild animals have bothered the trash bin. This is a good quality poop trash can.

While I love the look and size of this trash can, I don't love how light it is. Because it's so light, it's not that sturdy and my cat easily knocks it over and opens it up. Not great for if you have a pet. The lid easily opens with the pedal and is firmly on there. It keeps any smell in the can with no problem. Overall I'd say it's good value for the money, but be careful where you have it if you have any pets.

Not bad. It’s a perfect amount for a week’s worth, easy to clean. I always put a trash bag in it regardless—not entirely smell-proof on the inside, especially in the summer where it’s gonna be putrid. I keep it in the garage, so can’t comment on what it’s like against rain or harsh wind. Metal contains the smell from leaking outside. It’s a cute design too, which is why I got it. Wasn’t stained or scratched when I got it either. Not really worth the price, but I got it anyway, and it works for what I wanted.

We kept this outside for several years to hold bagged dog poop. It worked flawlessly. It kept the smell contained until it was ready to be emptied. But it is small. Smaller than a typical under office was bin.

Nice can but very small and the top lid does not open all the way or stay open. It is fine if someone has a tiny dog or cat but it is definitely not made for bigger dogs. Just really tiny.

Love this trashcan for our dogs droppings. We are no longer leaving bags on our back steps. We’ve got somewhere to hide them! It fits right beside our steps and you don’t even know it’s there.This little can will hold a lot more than you think too! I bought small trash bags to go in it so we can take them to the dump (we live in a townhome) but if you have a dumpster, the bucket removes and you can just empty it. Bags aren’t necessary.Yes, it is waterproof!! We do not have a covered back patio and this can has seen many storms now and not once has water gotten in.I will say, when it cooks in the sun and you open the lid, it STINKS…even with the droppings bagged. However, with the lid shut, we smell nothing!!Can has been outside for about 4 months now and there is no side of weathering, rust, or fading!

We needed a dog poop bag container for the backyard, something that was rain proof but easy to open by a foot. This fits the bill just fine.
