Thin bottom piece
Purchased for business use (to hold medical records.) The bottom needed reinforcement with another piece of real wood to be able to use it. The rest of the product seems like it should be good. I expect it to last for a number of years with the reinforcement.

Be careful not to sneeze nearby
These boxes are exactly what I'm looking for with the exception that the 'wood' they're constructed with is only slightly sturdier than thick cardboard. And to be honest I'm not 100% sure about that.I pity anyone who let's the steam from a hot shower approach these boxes as that airborne moisture would surely be absorbed by the 'wood' (I'm really not sure it's actual wood) and result in a soggy pile of ex-box in the same way a tissue paper fort might collapse on a drizzly day.Light weight to be sure! 100%. But I have zero confidence that these boxes could survive even the force from a hard sneeze!Excellent for storage. Just what I needed but buyer beware should you want something with longevity in mind.

Not all that sturdy, but ok for light stuff
The would is very lightweight and not all that sturdy.

Below my expectation
I like the appearance of the item. However, the quality is poorly made. It has a bit of a plastic feel to it. In addition, it requires 12 screws and the screw driver included is absolutely horrible! The holes for the screws are not aligned, with one another which causes the screws to want to go in crooked. It was a complete waste of my money and I will be putting it in the trash. I despise it when sellers post good ratings on a not good item.

Works, sort of.
With the crate positioned longways front to back it is too narrow to fit the records. Turn it sideways and of course they fit but you won’t get 100 in there. If you don’t protect your records they will fit as intended, mostly. The inside dimension of this crate is 12.5” which is just enough for most records. Add the outer plastic sleeve and it’s just too tight to not damage the corners of the cover stuffing it in and out. Seems sturdy enough but the “wood” has no weight to it like balsa. Since it turned out to be less storage than I wanted I probably won’t buy another.

Doesn’t hold records with outer sleeve
These record crates are measured with extremely tight tolerances, and are only designed for holding records that do not have an outer plastic sleeve. You can stuff a record in the crate that has an outer plastic sleeve, but it will slightly bent the album cover and create friction when you try to thumb through the records. As a result, I cannot use this for my collectible records, because it can damage the record cover. I don’t know if I can return these because I already put them all together, but we’ll see. Additionally, they are way over priced, considering how thin the material is. The bottom of the crate is particularly thin and I don’t believe that you would want to lift this crate with a records in it, because it seems like they might break through the thin bottom sheet of wood and fall out onto the ground. Why is it so hard to find decent record crates that are not made cheaply and/or damage records?

Poor Quality!
This was purchased to use as a gift basket. The wood was light weight and flimsy. Some areas were not stained, leaving bare wood showing in multiple areas. I had to return it.
