UNACCEPTABLE programmable website, after downloading the program on epomaker website, it did not find my device, even though I have connected and used it for a while. I am unable to access the program. The rest of the keyboard, it worth every penny paid.

I am new to mechanical keyboards and thought I would start with an inexpensive version. This one not only has pleasing keycap colors but also offers great key pressure and sound.

The Epomaker EP84 Plus is a pretty straightforward keyboard, so I won't waste your time by citing the product description. I do want to bring attention to something that is easy to miss in that description, which is the steel top plate. It adds weight to this plastic board that feels unforced, and while heft isn't necessarily indicative of quality, I believe it brings a level of refinement to the typing experience. The steel top plate also allows your switches of choice to really have a voice. I found the Wisteria switches that it came with to be higher pitched and pleasantly clacky. They were a little too sensitive for me, in that I would unintentionally strike keys, so I swapped them out in favor of Epomaker's Shadow Black switches. The board is easy to mod so I also did a tape mod, and I would describe the new sound as a marbly pop. In a setting where noise isn't an issue, the sound and feel are very satisfying. This board is usually on sale for 30-50% off, and I highly recommend at least trying it out for yourself.

The media could not be loaded. This keyboard is really cute and compact, perfect for small workspaces. My favorite part is the fact that it comes with all Fn keys, and home and end keys. As a developer these keys are absolutely essential and a lot of compact layouts have at least one of them missing. The flamingo switches sound lovely: a slight clacky creamy sound. In the attached video I use MOA profile keycaps which produce a slightly deeper, trickier sound than with the original cherry profile keycaps. Overall very happy with the product for the really low price!

This keyboard punches well above its weight. It feels good to type on, and the weight keeps it planted on my desk. The only complaints I have is as I'm gaming I sometimes push a key while in wasd position and there are no adjustable support legs. But typing is where this keyboard shines. Make no mistake, I feel like I got a good deal and would recommend to anyone.

It is a very good keyboard, you can see the improvement over the old EP84. It is tri-mode (wired, 2.4Gh and Bluetooth). Remember to use the key combination to choose the mode, otherwise the computer will not recognize the keyboard, even for wired mode (FN + 5). The sound when typing is very good and satisfactory, excellent in that aspect, factory lubricated and with good weight. Speaking of the software, although it is not compatible with VIA or QMK, it has proprietary software that allows you to do several useful things. It has a maximum of 3 layers (FN + Z / X / C) fully customizable in terms of keys and macros. It has a good battery and keycaps. It is an excellent purchase and even more so when it goes on sale.
