Great piece of kit
I was really in two minds as to whether to buy these or not as I only had a couple of double ear o clips to put on and I thought some old pincers or even a vice would do. But I am glad that I bit the bullet and bought these, they made a great job of tightening the clips which is reassuring on a gas pipe. They are actually shaped differently to most normal pincers and fit the clips profile perfectly. I think they are overpriced for what they are, but I could not find them cheaper anywhere else, and I am happy to have added them to my tool kit.

Should do the job but not the "proper" tool
It will do the job. I've previously use an o clip tool from a leading tool manufacturer. These are not the same, whether that makes any difference will have to be seen. These are pincers, it has 2 faces that are finished to a cutting edge. With sufficient force these could cut the clip, in practise this seems unlikely. The other tool i have used has thin but flat faces so no cutting edge.

Ideal for crimping double ear stainless steel clips
Was in a pinch and needed a pair of pincers / pliers for crimping some double ear hose clips and these did the job. They are like normal pincers but have a narrower head which is what I needed as the clips were in a confined space. Would only use on stainless steel clips as the jaws are sharp and would probably cut through soft metal.A bit on the expensive side for what are essentially ground down pincers but certainly cheaper than getting a plumber in to do job.
