Mobicool Coolbox U26 12V

this cooler box is the best. i use it on my boat and it keeps the beer (and fresh food)nice and cool.it is not to noisy and very good value for the price. the one i bought was a refurbished model and had mains 240v lead as well as the 12v. this is very handy when connected to shore power. this cooler gets 10 out of 10 from me.

Had this fitted in my truck. Cigarette plug didn't last long so I connected a mini anderson lead to it and it's been running everyday for over 2 years with no problems. Just have to suck or blow dust from the fan every now and again. If it breaks tomorrow I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

We bought in England this for transporting fridge stuff about the country (we live on the continent) but it is not up to the job. The handle comes off if you get the little tags in the right place -about 45o and they are only tiny pieces of plastic and are already showing signs of coming off, then the handle wont be retained on. I'm going to have to drill some screws in. The top white bit does not clip into the bottom blue bit positively and we had to buy some duck-tape to hold the two together otherwise you have to hold the bottom on. All this after about 3 uses. It cools down to about 10o below ambient. Wish we had bought a more expesive item that had more quality and was a mini fridge not just a cool box with a fan.

I have had cooler boxes in the past. This one is quieter the previous ones (still a bit noisy though) and has a considerable amount of space. Great value for this price compared to others coolers on the market.

Bought for our car. Works well.

This is a good quality, robust powered coolbox which does what it says and cools to up to 18 deg below the ambient temperature, making it more powerful than several more expensive models.It's a neat design with storage for the 12v power cable within the lid. I've been using mine for the last few months, carried in the passenger footwell of my car, where it's a perfect fit and keeps drinks etc chilled. It's not a high-power fridge so I wouldn't use it to store fish or meat for prolonged periods and isn't what it's designed for. The fan makes a low humming noise which might be distracting if left running overnight in a small tent or campervan so during camping use, it might be better to leave it running in an awning instead.If you're planning to use it overnight and have access to a mains hook-up, I would recommend purchasing a transformer such as  Coleman Campingaz AC/DC Transformer (UK)  as these are cheaper than the optional mains power lead and can be used to power any 12v appliance.
