Super-Meh!!
Awesome junk!If you're buying this because it looks all grippy, well, join this sucker. Darn thing looks like a tire so I figured it would grip like one. Will the shenanigans ever end? But, if you're buying it because it looks pretty rad then you're in luck. It looks like a tire, stuck to the back of your Kindle! That really rocks because mine is a rebuild so what better to put on it than a retread tire? I'm pretty sure they got this section off a Power Wheels that visited Goodyear. I am convinced that I can tape this to the bottom of a flat tire (non-driven wheel only!!) and slide my way to a tire store on it. It, and the kindle within, should get me the better part of a few miles, I'm sure of it! The screen should last a half mile all on its own, they're tough as the nails in your tire! I think you could use these to throw the authorities off your trail too! I'm no criminal mastermind so you're gonna hafta figure out the sneaky stuff all on your own. I'm not responsible for the crime and mayhem that the previous sentences will surely cause.Oh yeah, if you've got weak sissyfingers like me then this case is like a gym for your fingertips! Do some reps, feel the burn! The buttons were designed by gigantic people from Siberia with tremendous finger strength who forgot to adjust the amount of force needed to a level that the rest of the world can manage. People that big are bad at pretty much everything. That's pretty much all I've figured out about it so far though I'm sure many hidden features and uses are just waiting to be discovered!I paid like $0.12 or something for it, something about falling off a truck at the distribution center, so I'm not troubled in the least. I wouldn't pay $200 for one, that's for sure, but $10 or whatever is less than you pay for a haircut and you buy bad haircuts all the time, amiright? Sad/True.Just buy it, you'll be ambivalently "umm-satisfied" and only out less than it takes to make your hair look the way it does.

Better than some, but I'm going back to the original case
Updated review - easy to install and appears rugged enough for its purpose. This has a better kickstand than the cloth-like case w/ the diagonal-folding cover. However, you come to miss the extra screen protection of the traditional case w/ cover, and the deal-killer for me was not being able to hang it on the seat in front of me to watch movies on the plane.

Great protection, so-so grip
This is a similar case to one I had for my phone (which had been dropped more than a few times). The one time my son got a hold of this, the Kindle was well protected with no issues. My biggest complaint is the black pattern, while looking cool, doesn't really stick to the fingers which could allow the Kindle to fall. Also of concern is the hinge to hold the Kindle propped up. This broke on my phone and the construction on this case doesn't seem much different.Would likely buy again for the protection but would prefer to find a different case with better grip. Not getting rid of this anytime soon, though.

Not protective
So disappointed. I originally was using a flip fold case that covered the front of the tablet called finite folio. I had my fire 7 in this case for over a year and never had a problem with damage. I put one of these cases in it yesterday and my tablet screen was spiderwebbed by morning. There is no protection for the front and the sides do not come up high enough to protect the screen if it is dropped face down. Don’t waste your money. Buy a finite folio!

Good case but the buttons are worst I ever have experienced
This is a sturdy very durable cover but the buttons are allmost useless so hard are they to press. Only if you press the buttons violently they respond. Buttons are very bad but the cover provides very nice protection. The kickstand is working very nice as well and till date sturdy. Bad things are only the buttons.Overall for the Price a very protective case. Better than others or These Silicon ones. It fits perfectly.Buy with confidence but know how to deal with the Buttons.

Do not recommend
Not very impressed by this product. Did nothing to protect my son's kindle it cracked the first time it feel luckily I had the foresight to put on a glass screen protector and it wasn't the actual kindle glass! I returned this and bought a different brand that has held up great!

Fits the Fire tablet really well. The construction is sturdy. One con I have is the power button and volume buttons are a little hard to press compared to some other cases I have used. Also, the kickstand can be really hard to get out. Hopefully that will get easier after some use. Overall, a good case to protect your tablet.

Perfect for me.
When ordering this make sure your Fire 7 is the right year. Mine fit perfect and everything lined up just right. I don't use the kick stand so can't say much about it. Just wanted something to help me hold on to the table better as I have limited use of my hands.
