For quite some time I have been having sleep issues (couldn’t fall asleep easily) and poor quality sleep. As a result, I have been experiencing low energy levels and mood during the day. I have been looking for a solution and recently came across this product and decided to give it a try. It proved to be such a good decision! After a few days of using the product consistently in the morning I already felt a big difference. I was able to get much more energy during the day and better mood as well as sleep better at night. Falling asleep has become easier and I have started to enjoy my sleep a lot more. I highly recommend this product to anything who is having low energy during the day and poor sleep at night. It has been a game changer for me. Also, I find the product really easy and convenient to use, the quality feels premium and the charging case, which comes with, looks really nice! The product has been well received and it seems that the company really puts great effort in keeping its customers happy and satisfied. Well done!

Plastic hinges broke - too thin, only 5mm thick. Not for people with big hat sizes. I had many normal spectacles for 50 years, the hinges were tough and none of them broke. Give 1 star so manufacture pays attention and make a better mark II. QUESTION TO SELLER: Broke after 3 months so can I get a free replacement? (photo1: top of left hinge, photo2 bottom of right hinge). The blue light does the job. Would like the blue light area to be bigger and longer than 45 minutes.

Bought this for my dad as he misses the light during the winter months, The light gave him headaches, but that may be just his experience, the glasses fit well over other pairs of glasses and were otherwise comfortable but not fit for purpose for him

I don’t write many reviews but I felt the need to write a good one here. I’m a retired surgeon who suffers with bipolar and SAD and have proved the benefit of a good light therapy box (10,000 lumens) to myself and many medical sceptics. Sadly, I can’t use my light box at the moment (although a relative is benefiting from borrowing it) so I was looking for an alternative. These blue-light frames are extremely well made, lightweight and very comfortable to wear, even with my normal glasses on. Personally I found them best tucked inside my normal glasses frames. I have been struggling of late so was not expecting miracles. Setting them up with the iPhone app was quick and easy and having woken up with sore eyes and a strong desire to curl back up in bed I started a 30 minute session. By 20 minutes I already felt my eyes had relaxed and I was also wide awake! By the end of thirty mins I felt my energy levels were much higher than normal and have been able to do loads of things during the morning that I would have otherwise put off for later. Light therapy doesn’t suit everyone and these are not cheap but I have great optimism that they will work wonders for me knowing how light therapy has benefited me in the past.

Can I talk to someone yo make it work ? Do I have every time to open the application via mobile and pair it ? I m, cannot make it work after using it 15 times It does not charge anymore 🥹

I’ve used light therapy for yrs always with positive response but this device messed me right up. I thought I’d give it a week but it made no difference, feeling tired headaches all sorts of issues i never had before. I bought the glasses as the maker said it’s an improvement on the luminette glasses, not for me so back to luminette. Positive The glasses have very little weight with a nice blue colour light, no glare and very comfortable. I hoped the glasses would work as of the reasons above and the luminette can be a bit heavy on the nose. I’m sure they will work for someone else but sadly not for me. As for blue light I’ve never had an issue with it in the past having used the golite blu by Phillips. Great idea but needing to use iphone just to switch it on and side affects I had to be honest and give 2 stars.

I ordered the glasses 'cause I've tried everything to combat my (seasonal) insomnia. Literally everything. From herbal teas to exercise. Nothing really helped. I notice a lot of versions of these glasses, but these seemed legit. I was surprised by the high quality packaging and how solid the device itself felt. The app is also very intuitive and easy to work with. I've tried the glasses for about a week now and already noticed a huge improvement in my sleeping pattern. Falling asleep is easier and I wake up fresh now. I hope this will continue for the coming months. All in all very satisfied with my purchase.

I purchased the AYO light therapy glasses mostly for my international travels, which I am doing from London to US and to Asia. I have been always suffering from terrible jet lags and I was never able to find a solution how to cope with them. A friend of mine referred me to AYO and although a bit skeptical, I decided to give it a try since jet lag has been quite problematic for me. The relief I felt already during my first trip to the US has been significant! I was able to adapt much faster to the different time zone. As a result, I was able to be more productive during the day and to fall asleep easily at night. The product quality is good and solid. Since I travel in a very minimalistic fashion, the charging case is slightly too big for my taste so I will probably be keeping it in my checked-in luggage and carry the glasses in my cabin bag. All in all, I highly recommend this product to all frequent travellers!

First and foremost, I'd like to take the step of mentioning the exceptional customer service I received before we get into the product. When I made a request for added features in their software, not only did they welcome the input, but the co-developer wrote me back within 4 minutes proclaiming his enthusiasm for my input. As a package, the Ayo is well designed. From the box it comes in, to the charging cradle/case, or the QR code that's used as your serial number. A lot of thought went into this device, especially for those that travel. Both the case, and the glasses are extremely sturdy, and feel well made. The case fits so tightly that you need to give it a slight squeeze to open it, that's so it's not going to accidentally come loose on an airplane. In addition to the quality construction, the cradle has a battery that can provide you with 3-5 charges (according to the Manual). For anyone that has considered, or used a lightbox, this is a must buy product. I realise the cost is quite high. I don't make a lot of money, but I have struggled with depression and sleep issues for years, and took the plunge. Ordinary lightboxes, while effective, were difficult to fit in my schedule, especially on early mornings where I'm running late, and they're not compatible with social breakfasts, or early morning reading sessions with your partner (or at least mine) . While I found the benefit of a lightbox to be profound, in reality I wasn't getting enough exposure. I now realize that I was cheating myself. The first thing you will notice when you use the Ayo is that it is not at all harsh, nor does it terribly distort your vision. So much so, that my partner, who is extremely sensitive to light (hence the lightbox incompatibility) enjoys wearing the device. Ayo is controlled through an app, and a brilliant feature is that if you register the same serial number on multiple devices, those devices can control it. I often come home (much to my surprise) to find my girlfriend sporting these fancy blue and white rays! We both have the ability to use it when and where we want through our own smart devices. I mentioned that I've dealed with depression. I'm actually Bipolar II and always found the winter months tough. I have been a user of lightboxes for many years (I own three), but would more often than not use it as a "window" rather than a conventional lightbox. As soon as my partner needed the room I was in, I would either have to move or shut the device off. The difference I find using the glasses is profound. I like to describe the energy it gives you in this way: imagine there is a buffer between your goals and your actions. The buffer might be filled with sadness, laziness, or sleep deprivation. Ayo makes this buffer go away. You simply muster up the fortitude to do things in an instant, rather than wallowing on the couch. The app that controls the device, goAYO (I run android) is simple and stable, but at this point in time is under developed. I'd like to see the addition of an alarm clock feature, or programs that help you to achieve duration, not just timing of sleep. I currently use the "energy boost" mode for 40 min every morning and I'm shocked at the results. I have better sleep, a better outlook, and my overall mood has improved. If price is the biggest issue, take the plunge. It's for your health, your mentality, your well-being, and you won't be disappointed.

Secondo me non funziona

Um es kurz zu machen, ich habe die Ayo und auch die Luminette getestet. Von letzterer gibt es mittlerweile die 3. Version. Bei der 2. gibt es ein paar Probleme, deswegen habe ich die neuste auf der Website des Herstellers bestellt und bin damit sehr zufrieden. Bei der Ayo-Brille gibt es aber ein paar Dinge, die extrem nachteilig sein: Man benötigt zur Bedienung des Geräts eine Bluetooth-Verbindung um sie ein und aus zu schalten. Das ist etwas umständlich und auch irgendwie unsinnig. Die Luminette kann man einfach per Knopfdruck einschalten, so wie es sein sollte. Was noch absurder ist: Man muss sein GPS einschalten um mit der App eine Verbindung herzustellen. Einen vernünftigen Grund dafür gibt es nicht. Außerdem muss man zur Registrierung seine Email-Adresse und das Geburtsdatum angeben. Natürlich muss man nicht sein echtes nehmen, aber allein die Tatsache dass solche Dinge abgefragt werden erschließt sich mir nicht. Ich habe die Ayo jetzt wieder zurückgeschickt und bleibe bei der Luminette, mit der ich sehr zufrieden bin.

Je suis une habituée des lampes de luminothérapie, leur gros problème est qu'il faut rester statique face à la lampe, il n'y a pas ce problème avec les lunettes Ayo ! Le gros avantage de ces lunettes est indéniablement de pouvoir continuer le flux normal de ses activités. Je ne mets pas 5 étoiles car je trouve l'appli un peu rudimentaire et en dessous des standards actuels (le programme sommeil par exemple requière d'avoir des horaires fixes !) et j'apprécierais qu'elle se connecte à ma fitbit pour me faire des préconisations en lien avec mon activité réelle, la qualité effective de mon sommeil par exemple. Cela étant, ce coté rudimentaire la rends très facile à utiliser. Petite précision, j'ai contacté le support, (car je pensais qu'il y avait un problème de faux contact sur mes lunettes, en fait je n'avais pas fait le bon choix de réglage dans l'appli), très bonne expérience : le support est très réactif et très efficace, ce qui est très agréable ! (le support ne s'exprime qu'en anglais, mais de nos jours est-ce un problème ?)
