First off, I'm a med student who spends long hours at my desk if I'm not in the hospital. For my health I got this mini standing desk and it's really nice! The product itself is pretty heavy since it's made of stainless steel, but you can feel the sturdiness - see how I have a monitor and laptop and laptop stand and notebook (below the laptop stand) and it doesn't wobble and still smoothly raises up and down with the press of a lever just below the surface. I'm glad I got it and looks good on my white desk too! One of the close up pictures shows the surface texture of the standing desk.

Excellent value and a great product
I’ve been looking for a standing desk adapter since I started working from home. This has been nearly perfect for me.Benefits:- Hydraulic lifting system is quite easy to use. Takes a little oomph but it’s very simple and not challenging.- The product feels sturdy and high quality. I like the espresso top and was surprised at how nice it looks.- The surface area was perfect for my 13” laptop and 20” monitor with some space for a mouse and even a notepad. I wouldn’t want one much larger than this. It’s perfect for my needs.- This desk was about 30% cheaper than other ones I was looking at but doesn’t feel like a cheap option at all.- It’s adjustable to all heights within its range and very easy to tweak up or down an inch. Note: I’m 5’5” so I can’t speak to how well it serves taller folks at it’s full extension.Drawbacks:-The desk is still quite tall when fully collapsed. It may not be comfortable for you to work on it like that, depending on your table/desk height and chair height. I’m able to manage but it’s not ideal.- It’s quite heavy. It would not be easy to stow away somewhere.Overall I’m thrilled by this product and it has made a huge difference for me in terms of comfort. I’d recommend it.

Best standing desk... For those of us with a small budget.
This is such a great stand up desk for the price... Now, if I had a bigger budget then I would have expected more but for the price this is as good as it gets. The only problem I really have with it is that it is REALLY difficult to raise and lower... Not NEARLY as difficult as stacks of books (which was what I used to make my FIRST DIY standing desk) but you really have to pull this thing up hard and try not to pull it off the desk it is on. As long as your careful and gentle with this desk I feel it will last until I get a raise or promotion and can afford a more expensive standing desk. My one complaint isn't enough to take a full star away, but I give this 4.5stars. BRILLIANT!!!

It works for what I had in mind.
I really like it. It is spacious enough for two monitors, keyboard, mouse and some paperwork. It already came assembled, all I had to do was find the perfect place for it.I needed to be able to move on my feet a little more. Since I purchased this item the swelling in my feet and ankles has decreased quite a bit.I did reduce one star because it takes a little bit of oomph to initially get it to rise. If I had back problems or had an arm injury I wouldn't be able to get it to rise. I also wish it had a lever on both sides.Lowering is way easy, though you need to hang on to it a little bit and guide it down. Otherwise it goes down faster than preferred and can slam at the bottom if not careful.

Makes working at my dining table bearable
I set up a work space at my dining table during COVID and it was fine for a few weeks. But when i realized working from home would be longer term, I knew I needed a better solution. Found this workstation and it's perfect! It comes assembled, adjusts between sitting and standing easily, and is large enough to hold my laptop and essentials with enough room to keep papers/notebooks/etc for note taking. The only negative I can point out is that it is a little stiff to adjust. I could probably oil it and it would be fine. But I adjust from sitting to standing multiple times per day and it's not really that much of a hassle. And for the price, i'm not complaining.

Great desk but ONE BIG DRAWBACK
If you are standing all day, this desk will be fine and you will be pleased. But if you need to SIT part of the day, and work on the computer, you will not be pleased. In the DOWN position, the desk sits up a few inches, making it uncomfortable because it is not longer desk height. If you have a separate keyboard and there is room in front of the standing desk, that could solve the issue. I am on a laptop so I cannot move the keyboard to the desk so that my arms are comfortable. I have 2 standing desks and when standing, both are great. When sitting, the other one is FAR BETTER because it has a lower profile when in the down position. I do regret buying this one and which I had paid the extra $40 for the other model from another company that better suits my needs.

Sturdy and affordable, but no tray means keyboard is too high
I have a huge 30" Dell professional monitor that weighs almost 30 pounds, so it was difficult to find a sit-to-stand work station that could support it. This Zinus was one of the few that could, and it was able to support the weight well. However since it doesn't have a keyboard tray, and since the top of the work station is about 4" above my desk when at its lowest position, there is no way to get an ergonomic keyboard position as my chair would have to be 4" higher and my knees would be hitting the desk. I think these workstations must have a keyboard tray to be ergonmic while sitting.

Great adjustable desk, but you'll definitely need a monitor stand as well
Great overall desk, only 3 issues with the desk so far.1. When you're lifting it up, sometimes for some reason it gets stuck and you end up lifting the entire adjustable desk off the table, which can be very annoying to deal with.2. You definitely need a monitor stand, unlike other adjustable desks where the desks are broken into 2 section, 1 for monitor which is raised 5 inches higher than the keyboard3. At the very lowest setting your keyboard is still 3.75 inches higher than your desk, so it's a hassle to adjust the fact that you'll need to sit higher, and having a foot stool, or you can just suck it up and use keyboard a bit higher (which isn't good ergonomically speaking)If you just want a big table that adjusts without the height differences like other adjustable desks have, then this will definitely be perfect for you
