They needs to add more video tutorials on how it works and how to use the device
The device looks simple and handy and easy to carry in pockets wehn we travel. The device how to use instruction are not easy and straight forward, may be the devlopers/seller need to add more video with more explanation on how to use the deviceand how the device works, what is IR , what is RF signal and how it works etc.I saw 2 videos in their website with just 50sec and 1.5min lenght vedio, which doesnt explain completely and clearly about the deviceBeing a software developer myself and i had delveoped different softwares for different type of devices including RFid etc,it took me more than 1 hours to undertsnad completly abt the this device, i am not sure how a simple users who are not familiar with much of electronic devices will understand about the device.I see that its detecting certain frequencies i guess, like when i take this near to wifi router or microwave its beeping evertime when i go near to that.but when i take the device near to my phone camera or laptop camera its not beeping.one thing that is very usefull and works correctly is the Vibration Protection Alarm Mode, this also worked when i was testing, as soon as there is a significant vibration or shift, the device will beep with alarm. This feature we can count on in this device.

I need more practice using this
This is an item I never even knew existed until my boss told me recently that she never travels anywhere without this to check out the rooms for cameras. This seems to do a good job, and I think the motion alarm while you travel could provide you with some extra security. I'd say that it's easy to use but maybe not so easy to use effectively if you only use it occasionally. The company provides links to some excellent videos on their site to help me learn how to use the device. It works with a 2-step process. You can turn on the RF signal indicator, and it beeps as you walk around the room as it senses signals. My planned trips have been cancelled this month, so I tested this is my office. It signals when it's close to the laptops (sensing the bluetooth or the wireless signal, I'm supposing) and warning me of powerful signals close to the router. The second step, after you discover that you're near something signalling where you don't expect it — like near a light on a bookshelf — then you turn on the infrared light and look for the reflection of a camera lens. I think this takes a lot more practice. I was able to identify the camera in the laptops and on the phone, but I feel it's only because I knew to look for them. I think you have to be slowly examine the area through the device to spot the camera. One thing about the phone. Yes, I can see the lens. However, even when I had the signal finder at max strength, I didn't get any notification of an RF signal. And I'm not sure why, since it's using Bluetooth and Wifi and 5G.So my conclusion is that if there's a portable camera recording the room and running off batteries that isn't broadcasting any type of signal, I'm not going to find it. And even if there's a phone hidden and filming, you won't know.

Seems to work...might be a bit finicky
I can only test this with my phone and my ring cameras right now. While it does detect them, sometimes it detects other things or you have to have the device real close to the camera. I will keep testing it and update the review if anything changes. As of now, I will be bringing this on my next Airbnb adventure for privacy's sake!

Did not perform as expected
The box and product listing mention GPS tracking but I see no information about how that works, although I think it may be part of the RF signal function. Another reviewer referred to QR codes in the user manual to see videos about the detector’s operation, but the little pamphlet that was enclosed in my detector’s box has no QR code, nor does the box. I’ve succeeded in setting off the ant-theft alarm, which isn’t very loud but should effectively alert you. Be sure to set it down before you initiate the alarm detection or the act of setting it down will trigger the alarm. The RF signal detector mode set off easily near my router, but had to be held pretty close to go off by my soundbar, and didn’t go off at all by my cell phone, even on the highest setting, and even while the phone was making a video. If you were checking for recording devices in a hotel room you might miss them unless you happen to come quite close to them.I haven’t gotten any reaction or visual signal when using the IR function while filming it with my cell phone – the reflection off the lens looked the same whether it was off or on and was not bright. I tried it on my neighbors cameras this evening, and while I could see a light on some of them that I already knew were there I couldn't see anything on couple that were there and are always on. When I could see the reflection on a camera lens it has never been bright, so I think if you were checking a hotel room you would want to turn the lights off first.

Actually work
This product actually do work I tested it for myself just to make sure that it actually did work so I hid my own camera and I used the device to see if it would detected and sure enough it did detected from a pretty far distance so this is definitely something that you want to keep handy just in case there might be something hiding somewhere that you might not know to see if you travel a lot you can check your rooms and make sure that there's no cameras or anything in there like that are if you have a jealous X or something you might want to check your car definitely a handy device to keep around
