Very disappointed by these, expected solid well made tools from the States but these are extremely badly made. All the grinding is way off; one jaw is about 2mm thicker than the other, and both halves have been ground out of parallel so the pivot is tight in 1st position and very loose in the 2nd position. I wasn't looking for pretty pliers but these are so bad they're mostly unusable.

I looked at several well-know and respected brands of slip-joint pliers before settling on these Channellock's #526. They are stamped "Made in the U.S.A" on the handle and appear to be made from quality forged steel. The jaws align well went closed in both joint positions. The edges of the gripping ridges in the jaws are sharp and provide a solid grip on round shafts and 6-sided nuts. The vinyl handle grips are comfortable in my hand and the 6" size fit my hand and envisioned needs well. I purchased these pliers to keep in a small toolkit in my car for removing nails and screws when doing an emergency tire repairs, but they would also work well for any home use or shop situation. These pliers are a good value and I love that that they are made in the USA with forged steel and come with a lifetime warranty.

Bought for my son but highly recommend this to anyone for smaller jobs

Realizzato con ottimi materiali ma, pur fregiandosi di un marchio Top, ha un disallineamento verticale delle ganasce di quasi 1mm. Non e' un difetto importante da renderlo inutilizzabile ma delude un po' trovarlo in prodotti di alta gamma.
