Kerbl Raincoat Manchester, XXXL, Black

Good product but runs a bit small
Very good product but my advice would be to size up

Purchased before, seems much bigger.
Purchased the same size (L) as before but this new one is bigger. The legs are much "baggier" and longer this time, causing them to slip down to my dogs feet. He tended to trip up a bit, so to solve this problem we use a harness which pulls in the coat around his chest and keeps the leg material in place, preventing it slipping down.

Great coat
For what we paid this has turned out to be a great little coat. Our cocker spaniel is in and out of the woods and bracken but the coat has stood up to the test.

Brilliant
I use this over a cosy fleece onesie on my dog in the really cold weather . He has arthritic knees and hips. Keeps him warm and dry. He seems to enjoy wearing it too. Looks very cute.

Arrived faulty
Unfortunately this arrived missing the detachable collar so we ended up sending it back. It wasn't the best fit either but would have been fine for what we needed it for however, without the collar too much of his neck/back was exposed so he'd just have ended up too wet.

Turn out to be to big
It was too big for the dog so the wife sold it on to a friend who had a bigger dog

Small
Got a medium based on size guide, but way too small for my cockapoo.

Mixed feelings
This is easy to get on - the fact it zips over the back makes it very simple to get on, and even easier to get off. The zip design also makes it easy to ensure you don't catch the fur - except when the fur is black! I have two dogs - the white one it's easy to zip, the black dog, I've caught her fur on occasions because I can't see which is fur at times. The orange one would solve this - but they don't seem to be available. The legs aren't long enough. My dogs have 'feathers' on their legs that are mud magnets - and the legs of this coat only go to their knees, so the dogs get muddy even when wearing it. Kind of defeats the object. Also, when out for a walk, my little dog somehow managed to pull her legs out of the coats - several times - which was a little dangerous at times as she got her leg twisted at an angle inside. It is relatively waterproof though - so if looking for a suit to keep the dog dry, this is OK. If looking for a suit to stop the dog getting filthy on a muddy walk - it's not good for long haired double-coated dogs with long fur down the legs. Also not a great fit for dogs with a spitz tail that curls up and over their body - I have to fasten the coat back at the end, to allow the tail to still curl. That said - this would be great for a short coated dog with a 'normal' tail.
