Looks good.
Looks very good.I have to confess I am a complete adult beginner who has partially satiated a lifetime ambition to be able to understand and read music, and to play the pianoforte without damaging my families ears!I have chosen this set of books (I have purchased all five) mainly on the strengths of other reviewers, so I am not in a position to post a useful or helpful review at present. However, come the New Year I will be getting my head down and devoting hopefully much time to my quest. My first impressions are that music theory is every bit as difficult as I had imagined, so I will try to update this review to let those interested how I actually get on.Recommended.

Brilliant!
Ying Ying Ng's music theory series is the most brilliant creation for the learning of classical music since the invention of the printing press! (Seriously!) It covers pretty much everything you need to know for each grade from grades 1 to 5 - and is clearer than the ABRSM's own books. I can't recommend the series highly enough. It's the complete teacher in a book.
