SOLTER 05975 Aluminium Electrodes Si (2.5 x 350 mm Pack of 10)

There's a few thinks to know on how to use them . 1st you need a inverter welder.2nd preheat the job your are doing if you don't they will stick no matter what the voltage . They don't run nothing like 6010 or 7018s . I see tuns of comments about they are crap ect, it just folk don't know how to run them. I been welding 35 years its the first time I used them. If your doing a big job get a mig with a spool gun or a tig. They will be fine for a small job but they are hard to run. Hope that helps pre heat the job it's a must

had a few problems getting started, 80 amps is way to high, ended up at 48 with my little Aldi/Lidl welder, wire brushed bits to weld and heated up with blow torch before welding, rods burn very quickly, need as short arc, soon got used to them, patched up a mobility scooter

preheat and 51amps it was very workable recommend to experience welders

These are really hard to get to to work. I can stick weld steel really nicely and needed to do a small project in Alu. Preheated to high heat with two torches working simultaneously then set to work on practice pieces... played with Amps and found that if too low I couldn't avoid sticking down, if too high i could avoid sticking but the work just melted away. I abandoned it and am returning to remake the piece in thin steel.Unless you are well practiced in these I would avoid and spend the money on a TIG setup.

Used as DC tig filler rods excellent results welding 6mm flange to 48 tube !

The worst rods I have ever used, impossible to strike, nightmare. I'm not that good a welder but these things are painful, my son is quite a good welder and he had no joy with them either, even on steel they dont strike and the flux coating breaks off way too easily.

Primera experiencia soldando aluminio muy satisfactoria. Con una inverter y ajustando la potencia según las indicaciones que te recomiendan en el paquete de electrodos, es muy fácil soldar aluminio. Es como soldar con básicos (al menos para comenzar a soldar). Se recomienda limpiar muy bien la superficie antes de soldar.

Gli elettrodi sono adatti forse se usati con una saldatrice apposita. Io con la mia saldatrice ad arco non sono riuscito ad utilizzarli. Sicuramente sarà stato un problema mio. Sono bravino a saldare il ferro, ma assolutamente una frana a saldare l'alluminio evidentemente! Oppure non è adatta la saldatrice che uso o gli elettrodi che ho acquistato. Non so!

LASSEN SICH GUT SCHWEISSEN DÜRFEN NUR NICHT FEUCHT WERDEN

Ich schweiße nun seit rund 20 Jahren ziemlich viel, aber sowas ist mir noch nicht untergekommen. Mit diesen Elektroden ist es schlichtweg unmöglich zu schweißen. Ich habe alles probiert, Elektroden angewärmt, Material angewärmt, hohe Amperzahl, niedrige Amperzahl,... nichts zu machen. Ich habe nicht mal einen Heftpunkt geschafft, von einer Schweißnaht gar nicht erst zu reden. Ich hatte dann schon am Material gezweifelt und habe andere Aluteile zu schweißen probiert, aber leider mit dem selben Ergebnis. Den einen Stern gibt's nur, weil man a) nicht weniger vergeben kann und b) nur 10 Elektroden in der Packung sind, somit braucht man nicht so viel weg zu schmeißen.
