Great little device for a tripod that doesn't have a quick release. Well made.

SIRUI Arca Quick Release Plate Kit is what I needed for my small mono pod. Even the color matches perfectly with my blue Fotopro monopod. The Sirui Arca quick release plate is a small 1" rectangular Arca plate that will also fit on other Arca heads. It is 2 prongs that stick up which limits the placement of the plate on larger devices and more suitable to mount to small lightweight action cameras to small mirrorless camera at best. I plan to get an Insta360 camera and use my monopod with it. The quick release plate has 1/4"x20 threaded screw and 3/8"x16 adaptor. Once the plate is installed to the camera, the plate easily snaps into the head and then a press of the side release level to pop it off. When ready for use, flip the lock lever to secure.One drawback with this kit is the plate is it the head does not support my other Arca plates except this included plate. Also the prongs that stick up must align front to back with the head. It will not fit in sideways left/right. The ability to rotate is helpful especially if mounted to a tripod and need to pan to follow moving subjects. This is very useful for my lightweight setup. But it is not as secure for larger setup that need use of larger Arca plates to support heavier devices.

The quality is great but as it’s sold it’s flawed. The plate for the camera will not work with the two stoppers. This did not work for a Nikon d500. I checked around and this is just not sold with a flat square plate which would have made it perfect. I ended up returning and purchasing a different ball mount Sirui head that does come with a flare plate. I really with they just sold this in a version with a flat plate and a plate to mount a lens collar.

The media could not be loaded.  I recently purchased the SIRUI Universal Camera 15mm Rod Rail Baseplate Kit which has the same type of Arca Swiss mounting plate and really like the way it works. I saw this small head from SIRUI with the same type of locking and release mechanism and knew I'd like to have it for my other cameras.Since "Arca Swiss" isn't necessary an actual standard, plates can and do vary slightly. I like that with this type of system, the lever has a hex key slot to make adjustments to accommodate slightly different plates for a custom and secure fit. The way the whole clamping mechanism/system works gives me great confidence my camera is locked down tight.This particular head has no tilting capabilities, which saves quite a bit of space when a full ball head isn't necessary. The only negative for me is that the size of the plate is fixed, meaning longer plates won't fit, like the Arca plates I already have attached to some of my cameras. This isn't a problem for me since I'll be using cameras and other gear on this head that I don't have plates already attached, so this will be great for securely attaching lights, my Pocket 3 gimbal camera, etc.The head rotation is very smooth and the head seems quite well made overall. It came in a well packaged box with a custom foam cutout. Too bad that foam cutout doesn't fit into some kind of storage bag, however the box itself makes for a decent storage solution, I guess.I'm pretty new to the Sirui brand, but I must say I'm pretty impressed so far with the quality of gear for the price.

This product was everything I hoped for, so I thought. I was very excited when I found this as I have multiple cameras in cages that have an arca Swiss built in. My Current solution is an acra Swiss clamp on a tripod plate, but the screw is small and does not get as tight as I would like without tools. Enter this drop in leaver clamp.I quickly realized this would not fit my workflow and some points and tips for a v2 of this.1. Add a 2nd screw hole on the bottom, so if this on a tripod plate, it will not twist off over time.2. Remove the dang walls that force you to use the square plate!I would happily buy this again since it's built well and looks like it could be my perfect solution. But until then both units I bought are being returned.

Très bon produit pour un prix raisonnable. Fonctionne très bien. Serrage réglable. Parfaitement compatible avec le Siriu Kit P-36 et le AM-306M MAIS pas avec Peak Design Capture Clip malheureusement. Donc je lui ai préféré un Arca Swiss classique.

Weil durch den Spannhebel kann man noch schneller Reagieren und ist noch Flexibler Agieren, würde ihn aber nur für Camcorder verwenden die auch für die Handaufnahmen geeignet sind.Meine Empfehlung ist gleich mehrere zu kaufen dann kann man das für Stativ / Monopod / Tisch Stativ usw..Ich finde das die Sirui Produkte besser und Billiger sind als die Manfrotto die zwar auch teilweise nicht schlecht sind aber nicht vorteilhaft wie die Sirui.

Sirui Arca Quick release snelspanner is alleen geschikt voor de meegeleverde (kleine) plate. Niet geschikt voor een grotere camera plate. Bandschuurmachine op de Sirui Arca Quick release om hem passend te maken voor een grotere camera plate. Misschien beter om een AM-20P te kopen maar die heeft geen draaiende optie. Sirui doe je werk!

Well made and sturdy and would like to get another arca swiss plate to fit but don't see any serial numbers on mine to try and find/locate a source. I want the flexibility of one Mount but adapters on more than one camera/lens body and scope.
