The media could not be loaded. Wow I am so impressed.For the price it is fantastic, well built easy to put together and super fun for my cat. My cat is a large breed (NFC) but just a kitten at the moment and the size is perfect, he can easily move it on its wheels, it is very smooth and quiet.We got lots of spare fixings that I thought was good as you don’t always have enough or drop and loose some.And the free cat toys weee a nice touch too.Overall I am super happy with this cat wheel, I might even buy another for the catio too.

I've been contemplating buying one of these for quite some time. It's a large item if it just ends up being an ornament, but as our cats spend 99% of their time indoors I felt it was necessary for their health and entertainment. I needn't have worried.The wheel comes flat packed and requires assembly. The supplied instructions are pretty good at guiding you through the build. There are a lot of screws so a power screwdriver comes in very handy. I found the process relatively straightforward and it took me just under an hour to get it from box to cat. On completion the wheel feels sturdy and the rubberised wheels minimise the noise but do not eliminate it. The carpet is a good fit and provides a good running surface.So why only 4 stars, well as mentioned previously, there a lot of screws. What would have been nice is if all the holes had been countersunk enabling the head of the screws to finish flush with the wood and then concealed with a plastic cap. Unfortunately unless you countersink them yourself, the screws stand proud of the wood. The alternative would have been to supply dome headed screws. Whilst it makes no difference to the functionality of the wheel, it certainly detracts from the overall aesthetics of the finished item.Anyway, after a week one of our cats loves it and can't walk past it without a quick run, regardless of the time. He was on it before it had been fully assembled. The other and the one who really needs the exercise has managed a sniff and that's it. I think watching the other putting the wheel through it's paces is more than he can cope with and is now settled on being a spectator.08/11/22 both cats now use the wheel many times a day and night. They have even found that they can both run on the wheel together at the same time. It's really funny when they try to go opposite ways. This is the best cat piece of equipment we have ever bought. Both cats are getting well toned and any build up of flab has gone.

Really solid, well designed piece of furniture. Spares of each screw and everything was well packed and protected in the box. They even included a couple of lovely cat toys. Took some assembling, but instructions were clear. Definately recommend it.

The media could not be loaded. I followed advice from a review and brought power tools. I forgot drill bit set, so had to use manual screwdriver, which came with the set. After screwing in ~200 screws manually, I realised I will also need scissors to finish installing the carpet. So that's the downside.Upside- it is huge! If I put a cushion in it, it will be the perfect reading spot. The wheel has brakes and spins on 8 castors, attached to the base. Not ridiculously noisy or rattly, quite sturdy. No screw caps, so screws are visible, but I'm planning on painting it to match my furniture, so hopefully it will look fine. Not suitable for outdoors and carpet is not machine washable. High density plywood with no splinters. Very heavy. Is it value for money? Well, considering it was rather expensive and assembly took most of the day, kinda. If you have indoor cat, small dog or a toddler, it's a necessity. But if you walk your pets or let them roam the garden or streets, you don't need this.

The media could not be loaded. Just got it this morning and it felt like Christmas morning. I've got 4 maine coins mostly indoors and they need exercise! I thought they might be scared if it...nope. Directions were great. It did take about an hour for 2 people to put together just because there are so many pieces. I recommend a drill as it saved loads of time. Make sure she's follow all the little notes on the instructions as we put a couple pieces on the wrong way and has to fix, but it's a great design so fixing was easy. It's got decent weight to it and the wheel is smooth. It does have some noise (more noise on hardwood than carpet). Everything was quality. Couldn't believe it. They sent good gloves in case you need them. A good screw driver. Everything was well wrapped, holes all lined up. Amazing! Highly recommend!!

The media could not be loaded. Self-assembly - instructions are OK but there is a great you tube video (the one with the young guy wearing a mask) to help put it together. We countersunk each screw hole after seeing that the screws were proud of the surface and the appearance was greatly improved and only took a minute or two with the drill. Otherwise all the parts fit perfectly together and aligned as they should.Of my 3 cats one was on it, tentatively the same day (video is of her first go round) and now uses it regularly (had it for 4 days now). The other two are sniffing and watching so far. I am well pleased as it matches the other furniture in my home office, is smooth and sturdy and the noise is only a muted whirring.

Feels worth the price in sturdiness and quality. My 15 lb kitten fits comfortably on it and jumped on right away. It took me 3 hours to put together as it is quite involved so if you have an electric screwdriver it will be easier to put together. But comes together nicely in the end with all the kit included that you need to do it and a couple toys to encourage your cat to use it.

It's a really good quality product. All the pieces were easily identifiable and alone I built it in 2 hours. The screwdriver was helpful, however I had read previous comments and charged an electric screwdriver. It's pretty quiet and runs well. Unfortunately I bought it for my older cat and she is just not interested so I am starting positive reinforcement to help her use it.
