Q: How soon after breast reconstruction can I wear this?

I suggest you ask your doctor prior to wearing it. I found it uncomfortable and stiff fitting, not just snug. I couldn't use it. Best of luck to you.

Q: How thick is the material?

The material is of two types, both stretchy. The thicker is probably about an 1/8" thick, maybe thinner. That's the one that appears white in the picture. The thinner one, which is transparent is like hosiery thin. I wore it for several weeks and it was comfortable.

Q: Whats the length of the large?

i can’t remember. I’m not little and there was an overlap which I cut off that was at least 6 inches
