Very well built, and small form factor. Fits nicely into a cable run, or directly attached to a port on a machine. The captive screws hold everything together, and make modifying easy. Good value for the few dollars, for sure. It's a full pass-through, so it has all of the functionality you could ever need, and it's compatible with all ports because of that.

These work fine and matched the description (3 each F-F and M-M). There are nuts on both sides of the F-F connectors, which may prevent insertion into a M connector with female threads, such as a 34401 multimeter. Removing the nuts from the adapter allows it to work with the bolts it comes with, but they hold it together and it's fiddly to re-assemble if it is pulled apart. Having it apart it was clear that all the pins are wired straight through. Removing the nuts will also remove the shield to shield ground connection. A few dabs of epoxy is recommended to hold it together if you need to remove these nuts.

I found this company and i purchased a repair tool kit from them no fancy packaging but for me good quality and cheap. The product i linked above,is my second purchase from them, and my third is on the way (Review to follow) I needed these to extend a couple of DB9 cables ( Did i mention i was Frugal) so these seemed to be a reasonable way to do the job! I often take a chance on off brand products that have little or no reviews, I must say more times than not i find little gems out there i almost hate reviewing them for fear of a price increase. I would recommend this product A++ in my book.

There are still of us old-school tech out here that need serial adapters. I'm a PBX tech and there are a lot of vintage phone systems in use that require serial communications. The only downside with these is that the nuts sometimes are in the way and if you remove them, they fall apart. It would be nice if they stayed together.

Good to have if you're working with older monitor connections, or want you made a few adjustments with old VGA monitors, etc.

This is a handy amount of mixed gender changers, I keep them in a container until I need to consume one. They are well made and reliable connections so far. The label on top is good for remembering it's just straight through.

Hello, If you are really looking at the picture it appears there is a male to female adapter due to the D surround metal stamp marks. But there are only straight gender changers as description says. Picture is misleading if you look at the upper right adapter set. The crimp Dsub surround and smooth are paired with male or female connector styles. So the upper right set should be a extender style or M/F adapter but is not included in kit.
