Cambridge Grammar for PET Book with Answers and Audio CD: Self-Study Grammar Reference and Practice (Cambridge Grammar for First Certificate, IELTS, PET)

I truly reccommend this book to all teachers or students getting ready for the PET Examination. I find it more teacher oriented though. Despite all grammar explanations and being easy to use, students might feel at a loss. If there is nobody there to tell you why you made a mistake, having the answers only migth not be enough. For students getting ready for the FCE this could be a good book for revision though. The book is a real classic and a lot better than others within the same field. A good value for money too. Plenty of practice, samples from the original PET exam, listening practice...9 out of 10!

This has been a great help for a tired teacher. I was looking for something to try and hammer in basic grammar and use material other than the usual text books. It has a combination of listening exercises, clear explanations, and extra 'exam' practice. I've used it a lot this year.

Brilliant! Am using the Ready for PET course book and have found this grammar book to be a great back-up. The grammar explanations are easy to understand, and the fact the exercises are like those found in the test makes this a must for teachers or students working alone.

you cannot go wrong when you see the names of these authors on the cover. I would have no issues about buying this book for English study.

Ottimo libro, pensato soprattutto per gli esercizi scritti e completo anche di CD audio per l'ascolto di dialoghi (che comunque si trovano scritti anch'essi. Completo di risposte per l'auto-correzione. Forse un libro non consigliato per la grammatica, che risulta piuttosto essenziale; mi sembra infatti adatto a chi ha già una conoscenza almeno basilare dell'inglese. Tempi di spedizione rapidissimi: è arrivato il giorno dopo l'ordinazione.

Tenerlo es el principio, ojalá que durante el curso escolar rinda los frutos esperados.
