The silicone handle is fake.
I disliked the item due to the handle issue as I noted above when I washed them the handle "cover" came off exposing a sharp metal handle. I was able to put that cover thing back on but that wont last long, that slip on handle cover is flimsy, I cant return them because I threw away the box before I tested the product.
