Decent Boat
Let me first say that Amazon's FREE Super Savings Shipping is absolutely incredible! I was certain that with an Alaska address, I wouldn't qualify. Didn't matter, though, and my boat came all the way from PA with free shipping. As far as the pontoon boat goes, I am overall pleased, although I did discover some problems during assembly. Having previously owned two pontoons in the past, I'm not new to these. This one has all the bells and whistles to get a person onto both lakes and rivers, at a very reasonable price. Being 9' long, it has tons of storage space my older 8' boats don't have, despite the anchor and motor mounts. The 7' oars are a huge plus when it comes to simplicity of rowing. I encountered a problem with the footrests. They should have slid easily into the frame. However, they didn't and I had to oil them down and pound them in with a rubber mallet. One seemed bent right out of the box and required considerable effort. No problem, though, for my boats always stay assembled and stored in a garage when not in use. Then I noticed it was missing the battery sling. A simple call to Buck's Bags fixed that. They apologized, got my address, and assured me it would be in the mail within 24 hours. Now that's customer service! In retrospect, I'm sure they would have sent better fitting footrest had I asked! My pontoons have been fully filled for a day now. There are no leaks that I can tell. Overall a good, fully-loaded pontoon boat at a very reasonable price. And is always the case with Buck's products, it's very light as compared to Outcast boats and others, making loading/unloading and carrying much easier. I highly recommend, both the boat and the customer service that comes with it!

Bucks Bags High Adventure... First Impressions
I spent a few weeks looking for a pontoon boat becasue I wanted to try something different than my float tube. I researched the Outcast series online and a friend also mentioned Bucks Bags as a possible option. I live in Boise, Idaho where Bucks Bags is located. I visited their showroom and talked with one of their pontoon experts. They had a High Adventure model on the showroom floor along with the South Fork and Alpine models. Since I wanted something at the entry level that wouldn't break the bank, I decided to try the High Adventure. Amazon had it for over $100 less than the facility here in Boise and free shipping so I purchased it here. The main difference between this model and the higher priced versions is that it has a powder coated steel frame. However, this model also comes standard with 9 ft pontoons, 7 ft oars, anchor system and motor mount. The others have a stainless steel frame, shorter oars and pontoons and no motor mount. On the water, it handles well and you can really cover some water with the oars alone. I purchased the 30 lb thrust Minn Kota trolling motor at the same time. It really moves with the motor. The pontoons are PVC coated and the valve system works great. I went to Bucks and upgraded to the bronze oar locks, oar sleeves, and padded seat. The gear bags are spacious and the gear rack behind the seat holds the trolling motor battery, a cooler, and life jacket with some extra room left over. First time out, still winter, I broke it in with one bass. The next weekend the count rose to 6 bass. I hope to get out again this weekend and catch some more. I purchased a 12 lb anchor but an 8 or 10 pound would probably work fine to hold you in place if the wind is blowing. Overall, it's definitely different than the float tube. I like that I'm out of the water especially in the cold water. I have enjoyed it so far and it seems very durable. My friend uses his High Adventure on the South Fork of the Boise River for trout with no issues and his Lab rides on the gear rack behind the seat with the cooler. A great buy on Amazon. If you're thinking about a pontoon boat, don't pass this one up.

Great people, Great boat.
The discription for this boat is all wrong it is not 96" (8') it is 9' and I have no idea how you can get anyone to fix it. Also it has a steel frame, not stainless. The rear piece of the frame needs to be put in with oil and a rubber mallet, I think this was done to make the frame more ridgid. Before ordering I called the factory and talked to Brandon, and I believe Dan, great guys, Dan told me that there are a lot of their boats here in Utah. It is light but very stout. Between the chinese built boats and the U.S. built boats there is no way to compare them, I have heard the company is in a merger with another outfit, but I hope they continue to build the quality product that they do now (04/12), and not have the boats built in a diffrent part of the world. I have not had the boat on the water yet, I was puting the frame on the pontoons. I stepped on one of the pontoons and fell to the floor, breaking my Darn leg at the knee joint. I should be able to launch in four weeks time (if I can talk them out of replacing my knee). I would recomend this boat to anyone, I'm sure it can be used in rapids depending on the skill of the operator. Neat anchor set-up, but you will have to purchase the anchor and line.

Very Impressed
Like a fellow Alaskan that has also posted a review on this boat I will echo his thoughts regarding the free shipping, usually living in Alaska requires us to pay out the nose for shipping, not so for this product. The boat itself has been a blast thus far, it is built rugged and handles great on flat water but an anchor is a must as the slighest breeze will push you off your fishing hole. The boat tracks well and the seating is comfortable, at 5'8" and 180 pounds I feel like I am fishing from my couch. I have floated the Little Sustina River which has plenty of snags and gravel bars and the pontoons have taken a few hits with no leaks, like I said it is a rugged boat and it has my personal stamp of approval so much so that we have ordered another one for my Son.
