As described
Harder to remove old tap than it was to install this. If you want a better looking one pay more but this is still a good electric tap.Has plug. But make sure to use common sense. I.e. don't have 4 high electric demand appliances on one socket. One of the reviews mentions they would recommend rcd/surge protector . I would too just for peace of mind. If using extension lead make sure the electric load is suitable. The product is plastic chrome. I do not take any stars off for this as it was mentioned in another review I read before buying. When using hot water it is like a shower. If you want faster high temperature. Just turn lever a bit to the left. Pressure is slow but temp is higher. If lever turned all the way. Pressure is faster but takes longer to get to higher temp.Hope this review is helpfull. The only negative for me would be the length of cord. It would of been better if was 2 metres longer. But every setup is different which is why no stars removed for this.

Highly Recommended
Best little gadget that I bought and installed in the bathroom in a long time! When the hot water tap was still being fed from the (massive) boiler in the roof, it not only took ages for the hot water to come through, it chowed electricity too!The max temperature attained with this water heater is between 35 - 50 Degrees Celsius I have found. For a bathroom you need NO hotter . It is actually quite HOT ! The fact that it is tank-free on top of it, is a huge extra bonus.Easy to install - would still just recommend you get a plumber and electrician out to come and look at your set-up to advise re installation. We installed another small instant water heater tap (the appliance a bit larger as it has a small tank fitted in the cupboard under the kitchen sink) so now we have not looked back. We are now independent of the big boiler altogether and so far amazed at the electricity savings. Big boiler remains permanently switched off.

not as stated by far
not easy as made out to be with other reviews fittings are not for UK at all had to buy extra fittings to reduce size to fit. if you haven't got the lowest water pressure that ever exist then you ain't going to get nice how water. it's got to trickle out but even then it reaches safety cut of tempriture.and cuts of so then you have to wait for the element temp to come down and start again and work out best flow to get some sort of warm water. not as all these reviews are making it out to be.

unbelievable good for the priced paid
unbelievable good for the priced paid.I've installed them as i bought 2, and I had them running for a while now and they just work! Carefully you need to cool the water before turning off the tap( just leave it to run cold water for few secs) as if not the next user will burn his hands as the element will still heat up water for few minutes after turning off.

Da Jia Inc 220V Instant Hot Water Heater. Quite good
Da Jia Inc 220V Instant Tankless Electric Hot Water Heater Faucet Kitchen Instant Heating Tap Water Faucet with LED Digital Display (Big Under Inflow) < Big means the tallest pipe they have and Under Inflow means the water pipe is connected from underneath. It comes with a 13A UK plug on a short lead but It should really have a RCD plug for UK use but can be plugged into a RCD adapter socket. When the temp gauge shows 40° the water is starting to steam and it can get to over 60° which is more than hand hot.The only drawback is you have to reduce the flow to get it very hot. This means filling a washing up bowl or a bucket with hot water takes a bit of time. If you increase the flow it goes cooler. The tap handle can be easily knocked on and the pipe feels flimsy. The hot water is instant which saves about 1 litre of water for us each time it is used as that would be how much cold water we would have had to run through the pipes from the boiler in the next room, then you have 1 litre of heated water sitting in the pipe unused. The one other problem is that we have the washing bowl on the right and the tap pipe is offset left making it only just reach the edge of the bowl. If the bowl was on the left it would be no problem but our sink won't fit the other way around and neither will the tap. It might have been better with a flexi pipe tap but I wonder how long one would last.I left it in for a few months as I had only installed it because the boiler died, we had instant hot water the same day it arrived and was installed. When the boiler was replaced I removed it mainly because the tap pipe is offset left and was a awkward to use on a right hand bowl as stated above.

Be careful of the heat!
Finally got round to installing.I bought this with a plug in RCD like many others. It works OK and for the price, is good value. The LCD (ANEKEN) did not get hot ,which some have mentioned, even at max tap water temperature which I assume is very near 13 AmpsI like the offset of the outlet pipe from the cold water inlet making the water stream in the middle of the sink. I do have to put down some negative though.1 ) the cable length was given as 1.5 meters(approx) . It was in fact only a cm over 1 meter. It it had been 1.5 m ,this would have just been sufficient to reach the kitchen socket from the sink. It ment a fiddely cable join to an extra length.2) As others have said, the outlet pipe join to the main heater barrel is rather wobbly which makes me reluctant to move the pipe from side to side too much.3) The water temperature is rather difficult to regulate. It is very dependent on the flow rate. At minimum flow it can shoot up above 65 degrees (according to the LED indicator) . Please note this is just past the OFF position in the middle of the tap leaver travel i.e. when the tap leaver is pointing directly towards you. You will hear a click when in that position ,which I assume turns the power off as well. This is well above scalding temperature hence the advice to not allow children to use it.I would advise turning the tap fully clockwise (to the left) . It should settle to a temperature of about 40 deg. which is quite tepid. Then move the lever cautiously to the right to get the desired hand temperature.
