FITKICKS Active Men's Footwear Foldable Water Shoes

Didn’t know what I would think of them...... but very surprised! Comfortable and very light weight

I don't know what all the complaints about durability and support are about. These are light weight slippers that yes, you can wear outside because of the thin sole. They are NOT raft the Colorado/hike the Appalachian/tour New York City shoes and you'd be a fool to think otherwise. They are kick around the house, wear to the "Y" to swim laps (no, I don't wear them in the pool but I guess you could), take a yoga class, do strength and flexibility exercise shoes. I've had a pair of FitKicks for about 10 years that I would wear around the house and they are still in good working order. Just bought the limited edition because I was tired of the plain black and wanted a second pair because now that I'm semi-retired and work from home they are about the only things I wear throughout the day--and to the Y. Love them! And if you'll adjust your expectations to what they are you'll love them too.

These Fitkicks are great for certain things and not so great for the others. The rubberized soles are only about 1/4" thick, are flexible and provide good traction. They do not provide any arch or foot support. As you can see from the photos the material is very thin "elasticized" material and there is a band of black elastic around the top that holds the Fitkicks nicely to your foot. I wear a 12 wide shoe and the size XL fits perfectly. The best uses for these, and the reason I purchased them, are to wear around the house, in hotel rooms, on air travel when you want to slip off your shoes, in a cruise ship stateroom, possibly when driving a car or anyplace where you don't want to go barefooted in a public area. I haven't used them around a pool but I'm sure they would perform well when wet. If you want to wear them in outdoor or public areas like stores, sidewalks, or uneven surfaces I don't think you will be happy with them. They do not appear to made for that kind of durability.

Would be 5 stars if they had more size options. They are super comfortable and seem to be well made. Will update if they don’t last. I use them for basic strength workouts and on the stair climber. Close to being bare foot.I wear a size 13 sneaker and 12 Wide for leather shoes. The XL is slightly too big for me and the L is slightly too small.

Low quality

I bought these for my husband after I found a pair at my local grocery store for women. We use them for kayaking and it helps keep your feet from burning on the loading docks. They dry quickly and rinse off easy with the hose. I wouldn't wear them for walking long distances but they are great shoes for going into the lake. Also my husband is VERY picky and he likes these A LOT! so that's saying something!

I like the product

The male engineer takes these to Asia where the hotel slippers don't fit is size 12 feet. He said "I love these" and want to buy more! He would like the company to make a larger size, these barely fit his size 12.

Non slip and fits well. Bought for my son who slipped on stairs and broke finger and toe. He is so happy with them. They rock!
