Stargazer Lip Stain Pen 03 Lipstick Deep Red by Stargazer

This is a very good lip stain. Very deep, intense pigment. In fact, I had to practice a bit with application. I first applied like I have other lipstain pens; outline the lips then fill in, usually needing multiple passes. This led to bleeding around the edges, and it was too intense.I found that by applying with a light touch, and not going all the way to the edge of my lip line, I got a good amount of color, minimized bleeding, and just lightly touch any spots where I think it looks patchy. I then apply some lip balm. This stain isn’t moisturizing, but it’s not drying out my lips either. It doesn’t transfer, even after applying the lip balm.I’ve tried a bunch of “long-lasting lipsticks”, but they usually are two-step, drying, flaking, and can transfer.Lip stain pens are my favorite, but they’re getting hard to find in stores.I’m super pleased with this one. I might try other colors, though I’m in a red lip phase now.They ship from the UK, so it takes a wee bit longer, but it arrived earlier than expected and in good condition.

I have been searching for a lip stain pen - seems like so many of my favorite brands no longer carry them. This is a true lip stain - it's not just a matte color on top of your lips. Real staying power that "stains" your lips and an opportunity to layer with other lip colors/treatments. I am almost 50 and do find I have to be careful in application because it can bleed into those cracks surrounding my lips. But I'll take this limitation and work with it to have that long-lasting color that doesn't feel like clay on my lips.

I wear it quite often. Love the color. It come off pretty dark when you first put it on but fades nicely

I love this color. The application is simple and provides great, even coverage. If I want a bold look I leave it as is; for a more subtle look, I wait a bit then lightly wipe with a damp cloth. This is my new go-to for lip stain!

Some folks have written about inconsistency. I only experience that when I overapplied the product, and sometimes when I undermoisturized. A little bit goes a long way. Once you get the hang of it, you will have a long last lip stain that looks great throughout meals and the workday. As with any marker, if you have creases in your skin it will bleed into those areas, so be mindful to wipe or dab at that during application, and spread your lips wide to ensure max coverage. My personal routine is a little bit of chapstick, followed by using the pen as a lipliner and rubbing my lips together. This seems to give me the most natural and even coverage, and the chapstick allows it to still be wiped if there's a place that took in too much. I will definitely purchase this product again.

It's way darker than expected and as someone who doesn't use lipstick much, it's very hard to put on neatly. It's essentially a dark red marker.

I have a dark complexion, this is a great colour for my lips. Easy to apply, however, does not stay on the whole day. it does state that it’s semipermanent so that’s okay.I would buy again

Really good but colour on pen is knowhere near the colour you get . I was happy with the colours but some may not be. They do last all day though

Really disappointed with this lip stain (i bought 2 ) when the first one wasnt so good i tried the second one disappointed with the colour and stsin is really poor .....would definately Not buy again as it doesnt last and is poor quality
