Great for thick hair when other pins don’t hold
Love these pins for my hair the only bad part is the finish doesn’t last very long and you find your hair pulling when putting it in or removing it. Ouch!!

Great product
I love this hair pin and was buying a replacement one as the paint is chipping off my old one BUT they sent a blond instead on a brunette one. I'll have to try ordering again. I have used my old one for probably 8 years. I have medium length, fine, straight hair and I can twist it up with this and it stays up all day in my active job as a nurse. I definitely recommend the product!

Easy to use once you get used to it
I have a lot of hair (I really mean a LOT: hair dressers get their arms tired of cutting and washing my hair and they always say how much hair I've got) and I'm in constant search of products that can help my hair look with more style. I originally found this product in a Walgreens and bought it... but I never figured out how to use it (I think that at that time there were no instructions embedded in the box) and I just put it in a drawer and forgot about it. After maybe a year or so, I saw this in Amazon and read about the reviews and remembered I had one in my drawer... there is a picture with instructions on how to wear it here in Amazon and I gave this thing another try... and holly cow was I surprised! I could not believe that I could do headbanging and not a single strand of hair would fall loose! I just had to order a couple more of these things since I now cannot live without it! Unlike other hair grips or hair ties this will not leave marks and will actually make more waves if you decide to take it off.I put one less star just because after a while of using it it scratches your head (almost getting to your skull)... but I can take some pain given the fact that it holds my hair in a very stilish way!Beauty hurts... what can I say... but in general this is a cool product! Just learn how to use it!

style secrets...
Remember when Old Navy sucked, and people stopped shopping there, so they were always putting half the store on sale - but since people stopped going, nobody realized that along with the super-crazy-low sale prices, Old Navy was also starting to make pretty amazing clothing? Remember that? And then everybody was always telling you how awesome you looked and you felt even MORE awesome because you only spent $2 on the whole outfit (literally!)?Well, that's how I feel about this little hair tool situation. The hairstyle on the box is not cool - and because I've never seen a tool like this, I naturally assumed this was THE style you'd get with this particular tool. Lucky for me, I sort of have a shopping problem and am particularly fond of this bun-technology trend - twisty bobby pins, donut-whachamachalits, etc. Seriously, have you tried those twisty bobby pins? They're amazing. After watching a few videos and looking through pictures of strangers on the internet, I realized this tool might be like the Old Navy thing - everybody thinks it's useless or uncool because our experience is limited to this one uncool picture on the box (and in our brains). Finally, for whatever reason(s), I gave it a shot. The point of the moral of the story is, I'm glad I gave this a shot. Others have commented on my hair, telling me it looks fancy and labor-intensive, and I'm basically getting the same responses I got when I started wearing the cheap-but-awesome clothes from Old Navy. Nobody is the wiser...

Okay little pin, bad instructions.
Immediately minus one point because I received a blonde pin from this brunette listing. Minus another because the instructions that come with the pin are useless. It works and holds my hair in a nice bun, but I had to look up Youtube tutorials because the instructions are laughable. Find tutorials for a French pin, there are several ways to use it and the one that works for me is not in the instructions. I haven't worn it all day yet, but it seems sturdy enough to last an 8 hour shift with only minor stray hairs coming loose. As a side note, I noticed a lot of people say that the pin hurts to wear. Again, look up tutorials and you can find a way that doesn't hurt. I wear it a little loosely, but it is still secure and not pressing up against my head. The only issue I have with pain is twisting my hair a little too tight and getting a pull from my scalp.

Favourite Hair Pin
For whatever reason, hair sticks don’t work for me, but this works without fail. I don’t use it for buns like the instructions say. It actually falls out every few hours that way. I use it with French twists and this will hold my hair nice and secure all day and half the night. It’s so quick and easy to use, I find myself reaching for it even when I’m just hanging around the house for the day. It works just like a French twist comb, but with so much less pain and I have never had it bend out of shape like my French twist comb.

Super!
My hair is just past shoulder length. It used to be really thick, but it has thinned out a bit as I age. I like to wear it up, but I was getting tired of the plastic clip look. I am not "clever" with my hair, so I was a bit leery about this simple-looking accessory. I watched a few YouTube vids before I bought it (I recommend them; the directions on the package are only marginally helpful). Despite the fact that I still can't logically figure out how this hair pin works, I am thrilled with it. It took me only ten minutes or so to get it to "work" the first time. And now I can put my hair up in a French twist in less than half a minute. I like that it does not "pull" my hair, especially the hair on top of my head!

Practico y Elegante

This pin changed my morning routine
In seconds, I can style my hair into a neat bun. Thanks to this pin, i have decided to carry my hair long. This had been impossible earlier due to the tine it took to tie it or straighten it. A boon for my speedy getting ready routine. But cant find this Pin anywhere in retail or amazon anymore. Goody please make more of these wonder ful inventions
