Saved by Beeswax—My Roommate Snores Like a Freight Train
Let’s just say: I’ve been on an earplug pilgrimage. Foam, silicone, fancy noise-cancelling tech—if it exists, I’ve shoved it into my ears in a desperate attempt to survive my roommate’s nightly snore symphony. Nothing worked... until I discovered these Caswell-Massey Boules Quies Ear Plugs. They may look unassuming—little balls of beeswax and cotton—but don’t be fooled. After a bit of kneading to warm them up, they mold perfectly to your ear shape like custom-made sleep armor. Once in, they stay in. All. Night. Long. No falling out at 3 a.m., no weird pressure pain, just sweet, uninterrupted dreams. Now, are they 100% soundproof? No. You won’t suddenly gain the powers of a monk meditating on a mountain. But they muffle noise enough that I can actually fall asleep quickly—and stay asleep—even with my roommate auditioning for the role of human chainsaw two feet away. They're also surprisingly gentle. I’ve had issues with other plugs irritating my ears or leaving me sore in the morning, but not these. They’re soft, subtle, and reusable for several nights if handled with care (though technically disposable).Bottom line: these little beeswax miracles are my bedtime ride-or-die. If you're a light sleeper, a chronic insomniac, or just cohabitating with someone who breathes like a cartoon bear, do yourself a favor and try these.Already repurchased. Will repurchase again. Forever and ever.

Best sleeping earplugs I’ve tried
These are fantastic. My spouse is a rattle-the-windows snorer, and I’m a side sleeper—which means finding comfortable earplugs that sufficiently muffle the sound is a massive challenge. These little beauties do the trick. They are super comfortable, easy to use, don’t fall out, and create a dreamy little muffled sound cocoon. I use them with a noise machine like another reviewer suggested, and the combination works great. They don’t block out loud sounds completely, but muffle them enough that they are not disruptive. I highly recommend for a good night’s sleep!

Finally a product that does not hurt your ears.
I share the room with someone that snores and the snoring kept on waking me up consistently.I bought many different products but they all seemed to hurt my ears. I finally came upon this product and it did wonders. You can split the little ear plugs into smaller pieces if you need to, so that really helped for my ears not to hurt. As noise wise, this really cuts down on the outside noise. It does a great job, but of course it won't cut it off completely. Still does the job for sleeping. The only hit or miss issue I saw was that it needs heat to stay soft. I don't know if its only me or not but my ears don't seem to be too warm, so these plugs get somewhat hard at times. They are still soft enough for them to not hurt my ears but hard enough for them to not take the shape needed to block more noise.

Soft to ears, blocks sound. Sleep well
It works magic. It totally blocks the sound and is super soft to the (inner) ears and thus ensures a good sleep. Bought regularly.

Worked extremely well but caused major issues with my ears
There is a learning curve to using these ear plugs! You have to remove the cotton then roll the ball in your clean hands to soften the wax. My ear canals are tiny so I half one ball for using in both of my ears. Once they are soft, they mold nicely into the ear and cancel almost all noise. I’ve been using them for years, but gradually had to decrease use because they have totally messed up my ears! My ear hygiene has drastically changed. I was never a big wax producer. Now my ears itch uncontrollably, burn and ache. Giant rock hard flakes are constantly being produced now toward the opening with some small sharp sand-like grains and deeper in the canal, dark brown clumps of wax.My ears are now a source of chronic pain and discomfort. I feel especially bad because I recommended them to my adult daughter who also loved them in the beginning, but ended up with a double ear infection (inner and middle) and a perforated ear drum because of these 😩

Hard to separate from cotton, didn’t block much noise for me
I’ve had these for a while now and kept trying to go back to them. I’m glad they worked for some people. They did not work for me...First, the cotton was very stuck to them, and impossible to remove from the wax. I don’t know if this was a temperature issue during shipping or something. But both unpleasant and not effective trying to separate the cotton.Second, I tried a few times to warm these up before putting them in - shaping them as best I could - and they didn’t, at least for me, block much sound. I live right by a busy street and need to block basic street noise. Sometimes the radiators clink a bit too so I need something that at least somewhat muffles occasional clanking. I’m a super light sleeper so I can’t even fall asleep without ear plugs.I’ve had much better luck with the pink foam kind, and recently with a kind of soft plastic/silicone pair that’s reusable. But I wanted something more comfortable.I’m glad these work for some. They didn’t work for me.
