This pot filler feels heavy duty. The fit an finish is on par with my Grohe faucet but at a third the cost. Highly recommended.

A while back I got a wall mount pot filler that was very similar to this - traditionally these things are wall mounted.But about that same time I had two generic import plumbing items fail and cause problems. First a bidet leaked all over my bathroom floor due to defective (Chinese) parts. And, I got a tub of generic brand pex rings, and more than 50% of them failed (also Chinese). I also had a generic import garden hose with bad fittings. So after these bad experiences I decided I would NOT install any unknown generic plumbing items in my wall.The thing about plumbing is, there is no room for error. One leak while you're away from your house can cause thousands of dollars in damage.However, I had not considered a deck mounted pot filler until I saw this brand, and thought I would give it a try. It's a larger brand - still made in China, but they're a real company with real customer service and they sell in US retail. So they're at least somewhat vetted.And, deck mount makes a lot more sense for a variety of reasons. It's easier to install. It's easier to maintain. It's easier to monitor for leaks. I can install a ball valve under the sink, and leave the water supply to this turned off during long periods of inactivity. Plus I can mount it anywhere I like, including to the left or right of the sink, so that it can reach beyond the countertop for filling up buckets etc.It's attractive, seems well built, the finish is great, the instructions are great - I don't see any flaws and I have a positive first impression. I'm still giving it just 4 out of 5 though, for my general distrust of generic imports.

This pot filler is beautiful and works perfectly. I am so happy with it. The gold color is amazing!
