Swish Supreme Corded Aluminium Curtain Track Set, White, 300 Cm

This is a great track. It is easy to cut to length with a hacksaw, and pretty easy to fit. The brackets require a single hole, plug, and screw. They hang the curtain about 2cm from the wall (see picture).The central "hidden" join requires screwing from behind before fitting. These bits are plastic and they do create a weak point which requires holding it all together while fitting. After all that it is plain to see if you look.

It is nice and easy to install, and they work well. What more could you ask for? I'll tell you, a few more hooks that's all.

The description of this track states that track "Over 300cm" has two pull-cords, one each side. This is not correct. I ordered a 300cm track, expecting it to have only one cord and it also has two, even though it is Not "Over 300cm". I have three windows (folding glass doors) and three curtains; I wanted a shorter track for the right-hand curtain, to open it to the right, with the longer (300cm) track to open both the other curtains to the left. Obviously this is not possible - you can not adjust or alter the cords. If it was made clear in the description, I wouldn't have wasted time and money ordering an item I can't use - and having to return it.I would say though, that the order arrived very quickly, was well packed and the curtain tracks appear to be solid, well made and attractive, although I haven't opened their packets, as I'm going to send them back.

Track needs an amount of time to fit. The pulling cords are very short to abide with safety regulations, for me rather too short!

I spent all afternoon fitting this in a bay. What a nightmare. The metal track doesn't bend easily and it's very easy to make it go out of shape, I had to straighten it in a vice. The joining pulley section in the middle wouldn't tighten up so the blinds would not work until I found a larger screw. The draw string wall brackets are cheap and ugly so I have to find replacements. The cheaper plastic curtain track that I got from b and q for upstairs was way better. Would not recommend.

Does not tell you 300cm is 2 150cm lengths which is fiddly to instal but not impossable. I should have looked at the reviews but I trusted in the makers name.

Quite complicated instructions- give yourself plenty of time to install. Some parts missing but seller provided these spares with no fuss and very quickly.Work well.

Item received within timeframe and as described. Well packed and no issues.Easily fitted and although a 'Flat' rail it will take a slight curve if handled gently. At owners own risk obviously. From other comments they can split, but mine were fine.Very pleased with the product and service.
