Brookstone Big Blue Party X Indoor-Outdoor Bluetooth Speaker

Anyone looking for the most sound at the $200 range has found what they need here. Very balanced and distortion-free all the way up to maximum volume. I did notice a high pitched tone that goes away when the lights are turned off, but barely noticable at low volumes and not at all at high volumes. Make sure to turn your source volume all the way up and adjust with the speaker's +&-. Very punchy and clear audio. Seriously, if you don't mind it not being a small speaker, this is definitely for you. Very interestingly, there are times where the treble will cut out completely for 5-10 seconds, and I'm left with just some low end and the kick, but 95-99% of the time, it works perfectly. Will update if needed.

This speaker sounds great BUT, after buying 2, even brand new it will not continue to work properly. Do not buy this or you will be frustrated and mad you wasted A LOT of money on a unreliable speaker. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me.

Worked fine for few days then starting having problems with base/woofer buzing - sounds as if speaker was blown. Then turn off start up few hours later sounds just fine which means speaker isn't blown. Problem happens again so maybe only after warm/used for ~30 minutes. Sound really is NOT better than the original Big Blue Box (silver in color) so don't spend your money on this more expensive speaker that, according to my research online, seems to have problems not just for me. Buy the original Big Blue Box which I had for many years and sounds fantastic.

Bought this for my dad, he loves it!

The sound is awesome and the volume goes loud....... I left it plugged into the charger overnight and the battery overheated and failed...... I returned it and got a JBL Boombox instead .....but I will be honest the Brookstone sounded better.

This is the #1 speaker on the market, it’s leaves the old model in the dust and is well worth the extra money. The battery lasts longer and the sound quality is stellar even at max volume there’s no distortion, plus the speaker gets really LOUD!!!! Highly recommend and there’s no better speaker out there!

Loud. Great audio quality. Battery last a very long time. You can use this at half volume and still hear across any party/cookout/pool day/beach day etc. 360 sound adds benefit too since you can put it wherever and still hear it

Used it once a month at most for 8 hours. Sound seemed great at first. Then after Ia couple uses, I noticed one speaker was going. Now after having it for over a year, with limited use all the speakers are cracking, hissing, you name it. After this last usage, I couldn’t stand it anymore, unlistenable, sending it to the junkyard, just ordered the Aiwa, which has much better reviews.
