If you follow the instructions this is a great product. I did it outside in the shade on my tractor cab that had a hole and several cracks from a tree limb hitting it. I measured and pre cut the mesh. Had it all separated and laid out. Don’t mix but a couple of ounces and don’t mix until you have EVERYTHING ready. You will have approximately 10 minutes to apply. Get extra cheap paint brushes as they will harden. Watch videos on U Tube before trying if you’re a beginner. Saved me 1500$ and I put 3 layers on in 1 hr. Rained heavily 2 days later and no leaks. You will need to store this somewhere where that is well vented so the temp doesn't harm it in storage. What I received had no leaks, BUT the smell is incredibly strong even after sealing the jug in 2 extra plastic bags. You definitely want to wear a good mask using this product and in a well ventilated area. I too, question the amount of hardener you get & will order extra. Otherwise, imo, it's a terrific deal for what you get. The fiberglass mat you get with it is just dandy. The odor during storage even with it well sealed was my only issue.

Used it to reinforce a weak floorboard section in a 50 year old car. There were a few pinholes showing through, but floor was basically sound. So I sanded the interior side of the floorboard down, and applied 3 separate layers of resin and fiberglass mat, to seal, strengthen, and protect the floor. I used a stiff, cheap disposable "chip brush" to brush the resin into the fiberglass mat, and press the mat down. Just lay the mat down on the surface first, and brush the resin through the mat. Resin and hardener work fine, unless it is a really cold day... Then, you must use a heat gun, or space heater to get the temperature up to normal room temperature, so that it will harden. Because the kit I ordered uses the random strands of glass (fiberglass mat) it is much stronger than the fiberglass cloth. The amount of hardener included, was plenty enough to harden the gallon of resin. Just use the amount of hardener recommended, don't try to over catalyze the resin by using too much hardener. I used a disposable plastic measuring cup, to measure out each resin pour. Be sure to have good ventilation, and a pair of disposable gloves are a great idea.

A car hit my RV and I was not able to purchase a replacement. With 20% of the door missing I was able to repair the cabinet door. I fiberglassed a piece of laminate flooring in place.
