As a nail tech with a lot of arthritis in both thumbs I’ve found these very helpful in wearing under my thumb brace to prevent chaffing. Also it keeps a salon pas pad in place on my thumb. Individually they don’t offer much support but they are helpful in other applications.

Sleeve compression has effective support however after wearing two times it is splitting at the seams

surprisingly impressed. feels like it's doing absolutely nothing, BUT, I wear them at night, and wake up with significantly less joint pain and it lasts through the day that way. they do run big.

This provided nice support for about 3 months and then it stretched out and doesn't do anything. I ordered a medium size because I had previously ordered a small in the short version and it cut off my circulation.

I do feel this helps a bit. It doesnt offer a lot of compression sadly. I wear it while working but gives some light support if you can call it that. Its thin so it's not hot or uncomfortable. I wear a compression wrap on my wrist with it to offer some wrist support since this is just the thumb. I also wear it when using my phone and I am not complaining I just wish it had a bit more compression but it's better than nothing for now.

I felt immediate relief after putting them on. I need it for both thumbs as I deliver packages for a living. My thumbs were aching so badly. These are comfortable without being too tight. Doesn't restrict movement at all. I just hope they wash nicely. Great purchase! Btw, the bands have no odor whatsoever, as I read in a review. LolI thought I'd write again after continuously wearing 3 days in a row. Still has good compression. Washed with liquid hand soap twice & it cleans very nicely. I just ordered 2 more for backup. I do wish it came in black or gray. No biggie though.I think some people are looking for "support" with these bands. You're not going to get actual support but compression on the achy thumbs. It's like an Ace Bandage for your thumbs. Hope this helps.

I guess it works good to place underneath an uncomfortable real brace. This is just cloth and gets soaked every time I wash my hands so I keep taking it off.

Wearing these makes the difference between constantly spraining and straining my thumb joint, and living pretty much pain free as long as I am carely. They are hard to clean but can be soak in mild detergent or chlorine (etc.) but eventually one needs to replace. Maybe they last a month? Worth every penny. They are a little tight for about a day and then fit perfectly. By the end a little loose but always do the job.

I'm a massage therapist and my thumb joints get sore. This simple brace helps to alleviate tension and helps with healing. True to size. I have small hands and the small is snug enough.
