I've been using the Otterbox symmetry series for years on all my iPhones and when I went to buy one for my new iPhone pro max I was surprised by some of the bad reviews so wanted to share my experience. I think a lot of people looking for a phone case don't realize that this is a different model than other Otterbox options. The case is designed to be less bulky, and doesn't curve over the screen like some of the other, larger options. However, having had this case on two past iPhones, I can tell you the protection is incredible, I've never so much as even had my screen protector crack, and I tend to drop my phone a lot. When I received this case, it fit exactly as expected based on my past experience with the symmetry models. It rises above the case, so if the phone were to fall on its face, no part of the screen would actually touch the ground, which is how it can offer such good protection without feeling bulky. It lines up perfectly in the charging areas and the buttons, and also offers raised protection in the back around the camera lenses, so that in case of a fall again they won't actually hit the ground. My favorite part about the symmetry cases is that they are so pretty and have fantastic designs. This one is bright and matches the product photos perfectly! Like I said, I've had these cases for three iPhones now, each phone lasted 3+ years without any damage and the cases lasted that long too. I'm thrilled to have a new one and looking forward to the next few years with this beautiful phone case.
