The 2013 Reebok Zig Cooperstown Quag softball turf is here. This turf shoe offers the same outsole that became highly popular last year with an updated upper midsole offering an aggressive look with focus on support and comfort. The soft performance synthetic leather upper is both lightweight and breathable to keep up with even the most superior athletes. Updated front provides durability to the toe area for sports specific activities including toe drag when pitching and hitting. Breathable mesh collar lining with PlayDry keeps your feet cool and comfortable.

Son's favorite baseball shoes - just wish the studs lasted longer
My 11 year old has Calcaneal Apophysitis, (inflammation of the growth plates in his heels - also called Sever's Disease although it is not a disease and nothing is severed). It is made worse by regular cleats. We tried all kinds: Easton, Nike, Under Armour. All would have him hobbling at the end of the game. The Reebok Cooperstown Quags were the first shoes that he could play 100% in every inning. The studs do wear down quickly. He has to stay off the concrete with them to extend the life of them. The front cleats (the cleats that soccer shoes do not have)are larger and allow for great acceleration. As an infielder, he doesn't venture into the grass very often but said they worked fine when he did have to venture into the outfield for a pop-up or into foul territory. They are a little on the narrow side.
