XVIM 8 Channel Home Security System 1080N DVR Recorder with 1TB Hard Drive w/4 1.0-Megapixel Outdoor IP66 Bullet CCTV Surveillance Cameras

I'm starting to get really critical of these systems now... This is the third security system I've purchased from Amazon now and also the third that is dysfunctional. All four of the cameras will not power on, DVR starts up though. No instructions included with this unit except a very vague 2.5" fold out pamphlet with poor instructions on how to set up remote viewing (not that I even got that far anyway). I have purchased 3 different company branded kits at this point and every thing about these units is the same except for the front cover of the DVR. With the quality control of these I'd be suspicious if the cameras would even work for a prolonged period of time for any individual that gets lucky enough to have one arrive fully functional. Please take caution and read reviews carefully, the clues I am starting to pick up on are "verified purchases" that are clearly using a translation service just to give a quick five star review in English.Ultimate rundown for this kit --Plastic Camera - Even the front cover of the camera (simply put wind and sand will scratch these quickly)Plastic Threading - Being outdoor it will fail if temperatures in your area fluctuate from freezing to warm (I'm in Colorado), wind could also cause a problemWorkmanship - Check to see your cameras even work on the DVR before troubling yourself with an actual installEase of Install - (couldn't completely verify) No instructions on this unit, and googling this company provides little help.

The camera were a gift to my father n law. The cameras work great and clear. The only problem I have is he needs 4 more camera and I can’t get the company to contact me back. I have to take the cameras down send them back and order the 8 cameras. are They are good cameras but the company is hard to reach especially when it’s located in China.

Very nice package. The sensitive and clearness for the camera is good with a fairy prices. Easy to set up and have a good view for the night vision also. I would recommend this particular camera system to.

Came with no manual and also are a very cheap kind of material, still can’t figute out how to connect to phone and won’t connect to tv and came with no hdmi also too many cables. But they’re cameras I guess. Don’t love

Terrible. Just stopped working. Stuck with garbage because return window closed. Conviently stopped working days after return window closed. Waste of money ,time and frustration. Gee thanks Amazon.
