I move often, so having a compact kitchen set-up is a priority.With a peeler, dedicated veggie brush, and potato eye remover this tool ticked all my boxes.... especially for 7 bucks.Went with the bright orange to help it stick out in the drawer.The "Rachel Ray" print washes off eventually if that kind of things matters to you.If you REALLY go to town on scrubbing your veggies, the brush might not hold up to well.If you're like me though, and just give things a quick rinse with the brush... it'll do fine.Has held up just for almost 2 years now.The blade takes a bit of pressure to make good peels.Too light and you won't get much, too heavy and it takes a bit more than you might want.For 7 bucks and home cooking, it gets the job done well enough.Overall I'd say it's a good balance of form and function especially for the price.
