I purchased this product in the winter and they're very good sheets. They're very soft and feel great on the skin. The only thing that I would definitely be happier with as if they were thicker. These aren't thin, but I have some other flannel sheets (different brand) that are called Extra Chunky. As with anything else nowadays things change, manufacturers start making things cheaper to cut back on costs, leaving the consumers with paying more for less. Things just aren't made as well as they used to be. I would definitely recommend this product and I'm sure that I will purchase more of these.I have a CK Temper Pedic pillow top mattress that is very deep, and these sheets fit perfectly after washing and drying. I expected them to shrink from reading other reviews, but that was not the case at all! I'm happy to say that they haven't pilled as others have said. The sheets are beautiful, soft, cozy and warm in the colder month's. My only regret is not ordering more of these during the summer when the price was a lot cheaper. I still highly recommend these sheets, as you can't go wrong with this product.*Update 11/27/15*Got these out about a month ago for the cold chilly nights, and these sheets are just as comfy and warm as when I first purchased them. They've held up extremely well, no pilling at all, soft and cozy. I will be definitely ordering more of these sheets, you can't go wrong.UPDATE NOVEMBER 4, 2016These sheets are incredible, they're still just as good as the day I first used them. They have NOT pilled with all the washings. They feel the same as when I first purchased them. They've held up extremely well, soft, cozy and warm for those chilly nights. My only regret is not purchasing more when the price was down. I still recommend these for yourself or as a gift, you won't be disappointed! These are a product from Portugal and not from China. Ordering more for myself and husband, we absolutely Love these sheets!

I've washed these sheets about a dozen times now, and I think they are about the best flannel sheets I've ever bought or slept on. Soft and thick. During the summer they were all that we needed, sometimes too warm, even on their own. The blue color is deep and rich. Some reviewers have complained about the amount of lint that they give up in the dryer, but I have not found it to be more than any other flannel sheets I've owned. Flannel sheets always give up lint--for a long time, not just the first few washes. I think if you hang them to dry outdoors, these sheets might feel stiff, because of their thickness, and also air-dried lint might be an issue when you're sleeping on them. The dryer takes care of the lint. Environmentally not so good, of course.... We have a deep mattress and the fitted sheet is deep, and the corners have been sturdy, and sheet fits tight and smooth after many washings. My one complaint might be that the top sheet could be a bit longer. It's long enough to tuck in a few inches and have the top folded back about nine inches, so really it's adequate, just would be nice to have another six inches of length to tuck securely.

I confess that, over ten years ago, these were my first-ever flannel sheets. I was always afraid that they would pill and be uncomfortable. Boy, was I wrong! These are wonderful, soft, quality, cotton flannel sheets that make me look forward to going to bed at night and it even harder to get out in the morning. They seemed a little expensive but I didn't think I'd get quality at any less expense. I highly recommend these if you are looking for flannel sheets! I'd give them 10 stars if I could!Below is a history of updates through the years. My original review was deleted.Update: After the second winter season of using these, they are still as soft (if not softer) as they were when new. They haven't pilled or thinned anywhere and the seams and elastic are intact and like new. I can't say enough positive things about these sheets. I've purchased sets for gifts and a second set to use when these become worn, in case they were no longer available. If you're looking for flannel sheets, give these a try. I can't see how you'd find any better, at any price.8/25/2015- Thanks to everyone for all the helpful votes! I still stand behind these flannel sheets and have repurchased them many times since this review. I love them and have used them in the winters and, sometimes, summers as well. I'm thinking the pilling some have mentioned may have something to do with the pajamas or socks people wear, or even very rough feet??? I've never had problems with any of mine and have purchased cream, chamois, and green colored sets. Just my thoughts in trying to reason why some had these problems when I never have. I'm happy that Amazon has kept these in their offerings. Happy dreaming!3-1-17- I've been sleeping on these cozy sheets for 10 years now. Not always the same ones, but different sets on different beds, through the cooler seasons for these years. I've not worn a set out yet. They've not pilled or ripped or fallen apart. NONE of them! I absolutely love these sheets and have sets put away if they ever discontinue them. I love them that much. If you love flannel sheets, try these. Sheet set is heavier quality than I was expecting, so I am pleased with this purchase. Seams are well stitched. Fitted sheet hugs our oversized mattress. First wash and dry and NO pilling! :) These sheets are super soft against your skin and comfortable. The fabric seems to be breathable as well, so no sweating during the night. You won't want to get out of bed. Will be purchasing another set in a different colour. Bought the Chamois colour to go with our Cynthia Palampore Pottery Barn duvet cover and sham set. Perfect match with the yellow in the duvet cover. Highly recommend for overall quality, softness and comfort.
